Wing XIII Wing Report #10

Welp....cant believe it's my 10th WC report already.....gone so quickly! Last report actually marked my first 2 months as WC, and this report is 2 days short of marking 1 month since the end of the Supremacy Competition.....time flies when your having fun eh? Anyway, with that in mind, you'll see some new Wing competitions by next weekend in an effort to get us back to fighting form and get rid of those beer bellies (some more than others :P) from all the post-SC partying. Also....as Ambar's reports keep reminding me....the 'old' GW Iron star competitions will make a comeback in the next few weeks. Huzzah!

Fleet News;
- Pri needs someone good with GFX to make a map for his upcoming Imperial Storm wargame. If you think you can help him out, email him at spellfire@btinternet.com.
- To open the week VA Stuart complained about his reports :P Actually, he's started a competition to find a suitable HTML template format for his weekly reports. If you think you can make one up for him.....make his day and send it to to@emperorshammer.net by March 18th. More info in the news post.
- The position of ISD Relentless COM has been filled with the promotion of VA Oldham to the position. Congrats!
- Ok, in Frodo's infinite wisdom, he decided that the best way to recruit for Tactical Mission Designers was to insult EH members intelligence by explaining what a TMD is. Have I lost anyone? I hope not :P Anyway, if your interested in becoming a TMD, send Frodo an application, cc'ing VA Master.
- Due to the numerous power outages and pole-top fires this week, Western Power has apologised for the EH Messageboards being reset and all information lost. Seeing only aussies/west aussies will get that crack, for the rest of you....the EH MB's have been completely reset due to Joey's utter incompetence in hitting "Delete all" instead of "Delete post/topic" :P
- More XWA Battles AHOY! Hooray for us XWA fans, as there is now another couple of battles released! Go and fly XWA TC 44 and 45!
- Last night Stuart announced all the new PROF's of the various IWATS courses that were open. Congrats to all the new PROFs. For more info on who got what, visit the news page...noone there is from our wing and therefore not important enough to be included in my report ;)
Wing News;
- Unfortunately, due to many factors, which were/are not limited to laziness and RL stuff, I've not yet gone through the Yahoogroup again to see who else needs to join. This will however be remedied this week! I promise!
- Not a whole lot else happening in the wing this week.....there are still a few MSE medals pending, which should hopefully be approved soon.
- Phoenix CMDR is open. If your interested in the job, email me an application and cc it to Yoda of course! :)
- Like I said last week....due to the recent departures, we're down to 40 members. Everybody should do/be doing what they can to improve our numbers...including Yoda and myself.
- One last thing.....with WSR's from CMDRs, I really would prefer if when sending them out that you sent the actual report in the email, at least to your Squadron members, Yoda and I. I have no problems whatsoever if you do it that way and send through a notice on the yahoogroup about it being out for the rest of the wing.
