Work on the new wing site continues, so i won't bore you with any details :P

There was an improvement on Top Gun participation, but it's still down on what i'd like.

Winner of the last round was Keiran, with Ardeth pipping Neko and Atmos for 2nd. SW and BW for the top two.

As a result, Ardeth has successfully defended his number 1 spot and takes the Top Gun title for December. In the Squadron Rankings, Pi increased their lead over Eta slighty and become Squadron Top Gun for December.

Don't forget to fly the next battle (find out what it is later in the report).

During the month of December we flew a total of 865 missions. For the whole of 2002 we flew 14,274 missions! but remember that a lot of BSFs will have been lost due to the problems with the TC site, so our real total will have been higher.

Remember, flying 25 missions in a week (sunday midnight GMT) gets you a ISM, 45 a PC and 80 a BS.

Since it's the end of the month i have to announce Wing Commander's Own, it was a tough choice this month with a lot of squads having various things in their favour. In the end i've gone for Pi as WC's Own.

Gold Star - SO/FA Brad, for creating a major culture shift with the HI in the direction and attitude of the EH justice system
Promotion to Fleet Admiral - SCO/AD Ender mBind, for the new Fleet Manual, updates to the Order of Battle and new patches/updates from his office
Gold Star - PRF Ares, for consistant service and maintaining quality in a subgroup that's struggled a lot in the last few years
Promotion to Fleet Admiral - GM/AD Firefox, for providing stable leadership without going nuts (seems to be a common thing for GMs...)
Promotion to Admiral - SDIR/VA Troutrooper, consistant service as Intel's SGCOM and providing timely, detailed information and intelligence when requested

New XvT Patches: B-Wing and TIE Vanguard

Thanks to my CA, AD Darkhill, I've been able to release two new patches for X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter: the TIE Vanguard and the B-Wing. Both come with additional Flight group colours for the EH, ASF and respectively the DB for the TIE Vanguard and the IW for the B-Wing. The T/D and MIS patches have also been updated lately and now work together with eachother and the B-W and T/V. Give them all a run once :)
