- Congratulations to the new
Rage Squadron CMDR, CM Kalith Jaenus! Kalith is a most promising pilot who
I am very glad to welcome into the fold.

- Newly-promoted MAJ
Karimicus Sukkarius has unfortunately had to step down from the position
of Wraith Squadron CMDR, which he has held for some time now. It is a sad
thing whenever a veteran steps down, but Karim has sworn to stay on with
Wraith and XVIII, so we're not losing him.

| - With just 11 days of
fighting left for January's COM's Judgment, things don't look too good for
Wing XVIII. But, in our own style, we're beginning to fly and fight late
in the game as usual, and I've no doubt we will see ourselves take this
8th month running. Good job to those who have flown so far, and a big kick
in the pants to those who haven't :P |

Maximus have challenged us to an XWA-FREE comp to run towards the end of
January. I've accepted, and the mission/comp details should be announced
very soon. Get your joysticks and XWA CDs ready, because the ISD Immortal
will be helluva tough to beat. |

STALKER SQUADRON
"February Monthly Challenge" at http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=188
-Each pilot in Stalker Squadron
is allowed to challenge other pilots in the squadron. The challenged pilot
is allowed to choose the platform (TIE, XvT or XWA). The Squadron
Commander chooses the battle (TC, IW, DB, etc. - no Free Missions !). If
the Squadron Commander challenges or is challenged the Wing Commander will
choose the battle. Winner is the pilot with the highest Total in the flown
battle. All results are send to the Wing Commander who will do the
judgement and publish the result at the end of the month. For each five
victories (won battles) the pilot receives an IS-BW.

Well.. last week was a
veritable avalanche of BSFs, but this week it was a mere trickle. Never
mind.. I guess everybody's busy on COM's Judgment.. I hope.. pleeeeeeease?!

The usual people, who know very well who they are, continue to impress and
amaze me each week, and if I haven't thanked you in person over IRC...
then get your ass on IRC more often! :) |
