Greetings everyone. Welcome to next, late, wing report. I would like to appologise you for keeping you waiting on it. Of course this was caused by serious RL problems which I was and am experiancing right now. I believe in case some of my CMDRs decide to take a rest from writing the reports, this might be a good excuse :). Oh well, every time I was trying to write this, someone or something was interrupting me. This time, I'll be sitting here all day, to get that done. Ok, back to the wing affairs... There are plenty new stuff around here, and still more future changes - everything will be stated in news section. Also I need to cover to weeks here, so it might be take you some time to read it, hehe... Lets get on to it then...

Wing IV News
° Wing IV is the largest wing onboard the Sov. Yay!
° LCM Szu has created new Zayin Squadron uniform patch. Looks nice.
° MAJ David made one for Lamed Squadron too.

° CM Deadmeat has been removed from the position of Kaph Squadron Commander. I'm waiting for your applications. Requirements are stated here on Wing IV messageboard.
° New pilot has joined our wing. Everybody, please warmly welcome CM Var Zoraan (Cheth 1-4)
° I was informed that COL Minkus has some connection problems. Hope you manage to fix everything soon Colonel :)
° Yod Squadron vs Demon Squadron (Wing XI) has been started. I'm keeping my fingers crossed guys. Kick some Demons' ass for us.
° CPT Mage has finally got a new joystick. I am being constantly spammed by his randomly choosen files :). Sorry for keeping you waiting Mage.
° Academy project - growing. Got the Cheth and Lamed Company reports - nice job gentlemen.

1.) Wing IV Ace Competition - Round I
Start Date : 1/10/2003
End Date : 2/1/2003
Parties Involved : Wing IV of SSSD Sovereign
Missions/Battles Used : TC TIE#200 , TC XvT#37 , DB XWA#1 (attached)
Medals to be Awarded : IS SW for the best scorer on each game platform.
Miscellaneous Information : There are three battles to fly, the best scorer in each designated platform gets IS SW (Best TIE Scorer- ISSW, Best XvT Scorer - ISSW , and the best XWA Scorer - ISSW.) If one pilot wins two or three designated platforms he will be given accordingly 2 or 3 ISSWs. After this round ends, another round will be started with other Battle numbers, same prizes.

2.) Wing IV War Archives

Parties Involved : Wing IV of SSSD Sovereign
Medals to be Awarded : IS SR - Iron Star Silver Ribbon for the best submission.
Miscellaneous Information : Well, this is a ficition competition. As a part of TIE Corps, Wing IV takes a part in many combat operations, like defending convoys, attacking them, strike missions etc. The basic idea of this competition is to write a story about one of these missions or combat operations (made up of course). The story has to include entire Wing and be hmm.. astonishing - like an interesting novel. I will be choosing the winner myself.

3.) Wing IV IRC Trivia

Parties Involved : Wing IV of SSSD Sovereign
Medals to be Awarded : IS SR - for the winner of five Trivia Comps on #wing_iv during wing IRC meeting ISM - for the ppl hosting five Trivia Comps
Miscellaneous Information : Standard trivia competition. The winner of five trivia comps gets IS SR. The person who hosts the comp for five times (person who ask the questions) will get ISM for his work.

Sovereign News

-- Operation Outrageous Fortune is under way. Fleets have been formed and
beginning grids have been plotted. Now the tension will build until
fleets collide.

-- GN Compton has stepped down as Omega commander and will return to
Omega 1-2. Congrats to Compton for a nice run as CMDR, and we're glad
he's staying on in the elite squadron. A new Omega CMDR will be announced
soon.

--Skipping missions is not allowed (however it's not something what will
bring you upon HCI). All battles with skipped missions will be removed
from your profiles.

-- Remember to use the chain of command first when reporting complaints.
-- The Rat Pack may fly again, soon ...

-- New pets of the Wing V WC: CPT Cook the Parrot, Stick the Mimic.
