Lieutenant Colonel Frodo reporting for Wing V, 11/01/2003


General Information

Greetings and salutations Wing V, this week was relatively normal, with the usual ups and downs and extra’s that will be covered in this weeks edition of the Wing V wing report.

The Wing is currently faring ok when it comes to pilot numbers, but I want more pilots, we need more pilots, recruit! 32 is small, and we will do everything in our power to change that, for a higher, better number that we can all be proud of. Nun Squadron CMDR will be chosen soon, unless you’ve been told to apply by me, don’t apply. “What the heck does that mean Frodo?” It means, if I don’t offer you the position don’t apply:P

Wing V activity is getting pretty low…start flying guys, I know that school has begun and that most of you are getting back to your RL job and lives after the Christmas break, but that’s no excuse to slack off, your part of this club, consider this wing like your Family, you don’t just walk out and pay no attention to your family because you have a job now do you??? Of course not, and be good to me, your boss, and be active, I want a lot of activity for the month of January, its really really important to me that you guys prove that what most of the other people in TC think is wrong. You’re not inactive slobs! You’re not crappy pilots, get out there and Fly! Even when all odds are against you and time is as well, give the best effort possible, and you will be rewarded accordingly.

Operation outrageous fortune will soon begin, the final final final final last minute details our being pulled out as we speak. I am the official Blue task force leader, which means that for this particular Wargame I will be in charge of Wings I, IV, and V. Hehe, Wolvie just can’t seem to evade my leadership:P

Come to Wing meetings! They are every Saturday at 3 PM Eastern Time Zone, which is 2000 GMT. It is very important that at least the CMDRs be there. I give out some information at the meeting that you will probably not see in this Wing report. it should be mandatory for the CMDRs to attend…but I’m nice, so I’m not making it officially mandatory, but coming to these is an excellent idea.

You still have 3 days to send me your comp submissions for the design a pet comp. You have until the 14th, these submissions can be very rewarding since I award a IS-SR to the winner and a IS-BR to second place, and who knows where you’ll see the pet after? Send all submissions to me. Comp details can be found on my TC personal Profile.

MAJ Yoman and I have begun the KoTW Comp score checking shouldn’t be long now, This week the PoTM Comp will begin and there will be a pilot of the week for this weekJ

Wing V Open Bar

This week’s wing tips are:
1. A good CMDR contacts his squadron regularly, without actually having a reason, just intentions to inform and to help learn his pilots some more, CC your WC to this so he knows that your doing things.
2. If you’re a CMDR, always TELL your WC before leaving, especially me, replacing CMDRs isn’t very fun…
3. Heavy rockets, are stronger then Proton torpedoes, and Advanced Concussion missiles are better than Concussion missiles!! Who knew?:P

To get promoted to LT, SLs must do one of the following tasks:
-Fly an EH Mission or Battle
-Create an INPR (Imperial Navy Personal Record)
-Participate in an Official EH Competition
-Help your Commander with the Squadron web page
-Create an Official EH mission or Battle and get it through TAC (that can take a while)

Contact me immediately if you wish to be a part of the Wing V academy, re-read that long and inspiring paragraph I wrote at the beginning of the report! Its important that you fly battles and be active. Somebody try and out recruit LCM BubbaX, he is killing the competition with a huge 3 recruits to 0, make my comps a success!!! Try to read Wing and Squadron reports as much as you can!! Failure to do this can cause bad things to your immediate future…not too bad, but still, pretty bad! Go to the Wing V meeting SATURDAY 1500ET 2000GMT.
