Ahoy ahoy Wing 5, This week had a good overall turn-out when it comes to activity! Our e-group is bustling with activity, and flying is yet again on a rise, good work, keep it upJ
Speaking of our e-group…some pilots are starting to remove themselves from it due to its constant large tendency of having many e-mails sent to you. I am going to re-add those pilots, and I ask that the ones that are e-mailing a lot through it to please divert you’re energy towards the Message Board a bit more, it’s an excellent place to post you’re Ideas, and Wing V is known for its MB qualities ;)
As you may have noticed, today is the 1st of February! MSE’s Should all be in my inbox before tomorrow, If it doesn’t appear, CMDRs will receive a nice little e-mail notice ;P FMs and FLs, don’t worry:P
Last week I promised that I made a comp for the month of February! I indeed have!!! It’s the Wing 5 elite squadron comp! View the Competition’s section to see the details, they are actually posted in the report ( no URL) view them, and participate! This is the biggest comp of the Winter for wing 5! The battles for this comp are XvT TC 55, TIE TC 174, XWA TC 17 and we have a bonus XW Battle. The top 6 average score for all these battles will make the Wing V elite Squadron, and get an IS-BW. The top average score gets an IS-SW!!! The 6 most active members of Wing V also make the “Wing V elite Squadron” they will get an IS-BR and the top most active member will get an IS-SW and gets the honor of being the Commander of this Squadron. (No real roster change is made, you just get to add it to you’re ID line)
Very important piece of news: I will be on leave from February 5th to February 9th , I will not be able to make next weeks report, so the A-WC will do it for me. The A-WC is…………Drumroll….(View ending paragraph) Didn’t really think I’d tell you now:P

Medals to be Awarded IS-SW to Top Score, IS-SW to top Activity and IS-BW to everyone who makes the Squad, possibility of 3 medals to one pilot.
Miscellaneous Information Every pilot in Wing V is tasked with two things, A. Fly all designated battles, XvT TC 55, TIE TC 174, XWA TC 31 and XW IW 19(Bonus), Except for the XW one, wich is a bonus battle. And B. To be as active as possible in flying, recruiting, Iwats anything! I, (WC Frodo) Will review all of the battles scores for each submitter, add them all together and divide by 3. If the pilot flew all 4 of the battles, I still devide it by 3, thats why the XW is Bonus! it doesn't count if you don't fly it. EX: If LT Blarg flew XvT TC 55, TIE TC 174 and XWA TC 31, I will add all the scores together and devide it by 3 to get his score average. The Top average wins one of the IS-SW, the 6 top scores will make the elite Wing V elite squadron (doesn't really exist its just something you can add to your ID line). Everyone who makes the Elite Squadron gets an IS-BW. Part B is activity, the 6 most active pilots in the wing make the Elite Squadron aswell, the most active (I will deduct this by reading the MSE activity) will be the CMDR, and he will get an IS-SW aswell, the 5 other pilots will get an IS-BW. So you see, the 6 top scorers when it comes to battle HS will make the squad, aswell as the 6 most active pilots, Maximum of 12 pilots minimum of 6 pilots (at the very unlikely probability that the 6 top scorers are also the 6 most active pilots). These pilots will be allowed to Add "Wing V Elite Squadron (position)" to their ID lines. WC can participate, but cannot Win, in the event that he wins, then he will give his place to the pilot in the position behind him.

1. Being in the Wing 5 elite squadron would definitively grandly increase your chances to grow in you’re Wing Commander’s and Commander’s esteem of you.
2. Being a Commander means you HAVE to fly in the new Wing Comp.
3. Be nice to A-WCs:P BTW, Acting Wing commanders LOVE having pie in their faces!

To get promoted to LT, SLs must do one of the following tasks:
-Fly an EH Mission or Battle
-Create an INPR (Imperial Navy Personal Record)
-Participate in an Official EH Competition
-Help your Commander with the Squadron web page
-Create an Official EH mission or Battle and get it through TAC (that can take a while)

I try really hard to give you guys good medal opportunities and nice comps to fly in, take them as much as you can! They’re fun, and rewarding, plus you can use that in applications for positions, it looks good when you write in your app that you won a bunch of Wing comps ; )
Am I forgetting something….Oh yeah! The A-WC, the acting WC for my leave time will be CM Zexipher Van Taelyan, since he has interest in doing it so much, Although I do leave Stick and CPT Cook to protect my office and my beer supply, even though nobody can fit in my office :P
