Okay, there has been a lot of things happening within our wing, and having returned for a day (I'm still on leave) I'll try to clear things up a bit.. I will be adopting a different format for my reports upon my return from leave.

Also, I was promoted this week to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and I am now the new Wing IV Wing Commander. I will serve to the peak of my abilities..

I am still keeping the Wing IV Competition (Battle 79 is to be flown) going, despite the changes. Commanders, have your pilot's tfrs in to me by 10 PM EST on the 30th of August (yes, I have moved back the due date a few days).

If you Squadron Commanders have not turned in a Monthly Squadron Evaluaton for your squadron, please do so at ONCE. (I hope the Flight Office can bear with me on this). I plan to be very strict with this, and you need to submit your MSE by the last day of each month.

Also, I expect a Weekly Report from my Commanders each week, I NEED these reports, failure to do so on two occasions with out an acceptable reason will result in punishment.

Major Wet Willy had assigned a Wing Commander's Assistant.. However, upon my promotion to WC, I believe I should eliminate this position. I know it is frowned on greatly by the Flight Office, etc, but please give me your opinion.

Being a Wing IV old-timer, I'm sure many of you know may know me.. but I'd like to get to know you. Please arrange a time to meet with me on IRC.
I have served in Wing IV for about 13-14 months now, and as Lamed Squadron Commander for a year.

Also, questions have been asked about getting new members in your squadron. All you have to do, is go to the Platform Daedlus roster (http://www.tiecorps.org/rosters/pltdaedalus.asp) and email a few cadets from Alpha Company.

However, do not say "Join my Squadron", just say you'd be happy to offer your skills to help them complete their training, etc. This method is more effective than sending out countless recruitment messages...

*Fly FCHG Battle #1 for the Training Office competition. It is a hard battle, please do your best. Flight members/leaders, send your submissions to your Squadron Commanders, Commanders will then zip them and email the files to the Training Officer . The submission from the CMDR should include:

A zip containing all the pilot files from that squadron
A listing of the ID lines and email addresses of those who participated, plus their scores.

The files are due by the 20th! So far there are only 5 submissions, get flying!
