WING NEWS:

1) Allrighty. It looks like Wing IV will be performing about the same as we did last round in the Squadron League.. So, we still need to do better! I'll have those results out soon. Also, we're doing very well in the Big Sov Comp. Currently, we have 325 points, BUT we also have a ton of BSFs being reviewed for high scores, several more from myself and LC Reaper to be submitted, and about 112 FREE-TIE BSFs :) Keep on flying!

2) There will be a Wing IV IRC Meeting today, at 9:00 PM EST, like last week, because I waited so long to announce a time. It's in #Wing_IV o IRC.

3) As you saw above, Yod lost a number of it's excellent pilots, Yarik, Para and Vanas. The good news, however is that Paradox and Actar Vanas DO plan on returning eventually from the Reserves :)

4) The Teth Squadron (or Badger Pack I guess :p) vs. Rat Pack Competition has begun!! The two squads fly FREE-TIE 130 and send their .tfrs to me by September 30th. Total score will determine the winner :)

5) LC Guthwulf, Looooong time Yod Squadron pilot has informed me that his new squad, Viper is interested in any challenges from Wing IV squads :) He's willing to use any platform.


SHIP/FLEET NEWS:

1) The Emperor's Hammer lost MANY of it's long-time members this week. Tactical Officer HA Kawolski resigned from the Tactical Office that he completely revamped over the past year. The Security Officer, Fleet Admiral Rapier, who had served as SO for not quite 2 years stepped down. A Command Attache to the TAC, VA Slade resigned.. The SDIR of the Intelligence Division, Stalker, I believe, stepped down also.

Replacing TAC Kawolski is AD Striker, former Command Attache of the TAC. And stepping in as SO is AD Nightflyer.

2) High Admiral Astatine has said in numerous TO reports that all competitions must be approved by the Training Office or medals cannot be awarded for the competition. In order to reinforce this, the medal recommendation form has been modified to include a "Competition ID #" field. This is the ID Number (which you can look up from the medal recommendation page) that you receive in the mail when your competition is approved. Any medals for competitions of any kind (except for those where medal awarding is handled by the COO and his staff) must include that ID # or the medal will be denied.

3) OK... the COO Site is mostly finished for the moment with most of the information that's going to be on it and is at http://zsinj.ehnet.org/COO/. Also If you want to submit comp ideas or competition scores send them to zsinj2k@yahoo.com so my @home mail box isn't flooded.

4) The EH Internet Office has been updated with a brand new look, new layout, and new features! Check it out: http://www.ehnet.org/

5) The news subscription system for the IWATS/TO site is finally up and running. This is a service where you sign up and you are automatically emailed any news updates that are posted on the ImperialAcademy.org site. You can also update your details (change email address, etc) or unsubscribe. To sign up, go to http://www.imperialacademy.org/subscribe/. If you have any problems, contact the Training Officer.

6) A new IWATS course written by AD Striker is available at http://xam.tsx.org. It deals with XWA custom mission creation with either registered or evaluation version of ALliED. Pass the exam and become the first "XAM-certified" pilot !

7) The Sovereign Medical Bay Website is completed (mostly) and is up! If you want to check it out, go to http://sovmed.ehnet.org/.
