WING NEWS:

1) Allright.. I'd like to announce a Wing IV meeting tonight at 9:30 PM EST in #Wing_IV on IRC. IRC can be downloaded at http://www.mirc.com.

2) The Pre-Qualifying Squadron League Round, for Kaph and Yod Squadrons is almost over! I'd -better- have some more subs from Yod Squadron, or they'll have an angry Wing Commander to deal with (heaven forbid :p). I have about 2 submissions from each squad, which will -not cut it.

So- Yod & Kaph members who have not flown- FLY FREE-TIE 133 right away and send it to your CMDRs and to me! The mission is attached as FTIE133.zip (It's only a single mission!).

3) The Wing IV Swat the Flies competition is also just about over (unless I decide to extend the deadline..). I have only 3 submissions in my posession!?! Come on and fly the second mission (b1m1fm.tie) that's attached to this!

4) Wing IV MSEs will be taken care of later today.

5) The Wing IV Web page competition will be over sometime this week; then the pages will be judged, and a winner picked. So far, I have page submissions from LCM Alexander III Biges and from Phoenix/Starfire/Hello/?.

SHIP/FLEET NEWS:

1) Congratulations to go to Tactical Officer Admiral Striker for his promotion to Fleet Admiral!

2) Lord Ambassador Manesh has resigned from his position.

3) *From AbsoluteK*: I will be leaving my college residence on December 15th. This means that I will no longer have access to my T1 link to the internet, which is used to host my server which hosts many EH Websites. I have an account with 500MB of space on a different server which i can use to host websites, email accounts, and email lists. But due to the space restrictions, on webspace I can't host all the websites currently hosted on my server. I'm also aware of the fact that many of the websites on my server, haven't been updated in a long time, some since i first opened up the server almost a year ago. For this reason, and the space restriction on my account, I'am requiring anybody that wishes to continue recieving web hosting from me send an email to accounts@absolutek.com with the topic "My Website Account" and the following information in the body of the email:

-Account Name
-Current Password
-Size of website
-Why you deserve hosting

Priority for hosting will go in this order:
-Sub Group homesite
-Command Staff Offices
-Squadron
-others

Those people that have email, and email list accounts on my server currently will have their account setup on the new server by the time I leave college residence. However, they will have to email me for their account passwords. They can do so by emailing accounts@absolutek.com with the topic "My email/list account" and including the following information in the body of the email:

-account name
-current password

I'm very sorry to have to shut down my server, and understand that many EH'ers will be affected by this. To stay in college residence i'd need $1900CAD, which i don't have, and since i've been a full time student for 4 straight semesters now, i haven't had much time for a job either. I'm looking into other possibilities for hosting my server on a cable internet connection, but i'm not sure when or if i will be able to do that.

I would like to urge anybody who has any questions or concerns to please email me at absolute@ehnet.org.

Despite the fact that my server will cease operations (hopefully not permanently), on December 15th, I still plan to remain active in the Emperor's Hammer.
