Greetings everyone

It’s time for another report and well thanks to Conker there is, once again, something to report.

Flying!!!! YAY!!!!!!

Nice one Conker, another 15 missions to that FCHG score I guess.

Important news, we have a new mailing list being set up for the all new TC. I’ve been banging on about having a new list so I’m going to be using it and this group will soon be removed as part of the policy of having us all talking in the same place, (After all there are 60 of us in this club and how many do you speak to???).

New Communication Protocol

In order to make the communication between TIE Corps officers and pilots more efficient, the TIE Corps Admiralty Board proudly presents you the new TIE Corps mailing group.

It shall replace the currently used ship- and squadron-specific mailing groups and will become the basis of all TIE Corps communication.

Invitation are slowly being sent and you can also join the new group via the following address:

So get yourself signed up to the tiecorps mailing list and meet in the fleet and get some activity going around here.

As a part of this, there are ‘changes a coming’. I know we’ve all been through change but the higher ups have been planning an all new TIE Corps and it’s a good chance to put to rights some of the problems we have around here.

You’ll probably have received an E-Mail from Vip about the changes so if you want to be involved and breathe life into the old dog then reply and get signed up.

Oh and if any of you reservists want to sign back up and get involved for the sake of the Corps then do so.

Finally, some major good news for Wing VI.

Welcome aboard to SL Caydin Makarin and SL Dav Aosiz who have joined Kappa squadron straight from the Phoenix.

Don’t panic about the changes, get your kit stowed, head to the “Drunken Scorpion” and get Kaisin Mirtez, your Commander to buy you a beer, oh and watch out for his Pink Lizards they’re likely to steal your drink if you’re not alert.

Competition Time

OK people I’ve had my competition for the Wing approved so here goes,

Warriors Pride

A Wing VI Competition between Alpha and Kappa squadrons aboard the ISD II Warrior. To Be managed and judged by GN Rancorous.

Standard competition to run from the 1st of August until the end of August.

Flying Section
1 point per mission flown.
Bonus 5 points per High Score gained
Winning pilot - IS-SW
Runner Up IS-BW

Fiction Section
All fiction entries must be around the ISD II Warrior ether currently, or in her historical timeline. Max 10 points per fiction
Winning pilot - IS-SR
Runner Up IS-BR

Graphics Section
All Graphics must focus on the ISD Warrior or the Squadrons aboard her; Max 10 points per fiction.
Winning pilot - IS-SR
Runner Up IS-BR

Winning Squadron gets title of “Warriors Own” and all active pilots will receive an IS-BR
Competition entries will be judged by GN Rancorous and pilots may as many fiction and graphics entries during the competition as they like, however only the best 5 scores in each section will count towards the final score to encourage quality rather than quantity.


So there you go guys, something to get your teeth into, and if I’m still around in September I’ll be making the awards to the lucky winners.
