Greetings everyone

Well I’m pleased to say there has been something happen around here, I have received notification that CM Conker Blackwood dusted off his flying suit and flew 16 missions in three battle for which he has received the appropriate credit. Nice flying Conker, though I’m not sure I would wish the “Darby the Love Bot” missions on anyone.

Kaisin has reported that he’s laid flat in the med-bay disturbing the nurses, though I’m not sure what kind of mischief he can get up to with a bad back and doctors orders of bed rest.

This is, naturally, affecting his ability to produce reports and evaluations so apologies there.

We have a new SOO, did you realize that? No neither did I, was it posted on the news page? I must have missed it

However, did the SOO immediately release a report introducing himself to the Fleet and outlining the plans for the future?

No, what the SOO did is warn us WC’s that reports need to be in on time, so I thought I’d explain why you didn’t see last weeks until today. Basically I have to travel for my job, at the moment I’ve been away from home for 8 days straight, (yes including the weekend..business doesn’t wait) staying in 6 different hotels around the UK covering the roll out of an important IT project. I keep up with the TC on my iPhone, though I can’t use that to upload my reports. Yesterday was my first day sat at my computer with a chance to upload the files. Sorry guys, but I’m afraid keeping my job takes precedence here, especially with the current economic climate in the UK.

Anyway, congratulations on the promotion Astin, I look forward to reading your first report and listening to the plans for the TC’s future, if I’m still around after this to read them that is.

If not well can someone please run my competition for me, it’d be a shame to waste it.

Competition Time

OK people I’ve had my competition for the Wing approved so here goes,

Warriors Pride

A Wing VI Competition between Alpha and Kappa squadrons aboard the ISD II Warrior. To Be managed and judged by GN Rancorous.

Standard competition to run from the 1st of August until the end of August.

Flying Section
1 point per mission flown.
Bonus 5 points per High Score gained
Winning pilot - IS-SW
Runner Up IS-BW

Fiction Section
All fiction entries must be around the ISD II Warrior ether currently, or in her historical timeline. Max 10 points per fiction
Winning pilot - IS-SR
Runner Up IS-BR

Graphics Section
All Graphics must focus on the ISD Warrior or the Squadrons aboard her; Max 10 points per fiction.
Winning pilot - IS-SR
Runner Up IS-BR

Winning Squadron gets title of “Warriors Own” and all active pilots will receive an IS-BR
Competition entries will be judged by GN Rancorous and pilots may as many fiction and graphics entries during the competition as they like, however only the best 5 scores in each section will count towards the final score to encourage quality rather than quantity.


So there you go guys, something to get your teeth into, and if I’m still around in September I’ll be making the awards to the lucky winners.

Summary
