CM Armagon has been flying his arse off!!!  He is up nearly 70 FCHG points since last week.  Congrats on making it to Executor, Commander!

In honor of his Great Flying, Drinks are on me tonight, and the Commander can get whatever he wants for the rest of the month…just put it on my tab.

In honor of his activity, CM Armagon has been named the Hades Ace of the Week.

We have one Squadron Comps that are running; Fly TIE-TC 24 and send me the pilot file.  Highest scorer gets Iron Star w/ Bronze Wings.  Ends on January 12, 2005.

Flight 2 FL has been open for some time now, and not a single one of you is interested?

Flight 2 is in need of a Flight Leader.  If you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot filled ASAP.  I have also posted a recruitment message on the MB’s.

Imperial Storm running, but has been placed on hold for a bit (probably until we get a new War Officer)..  I need some volunteers to be scouts…if interested contact me @ sclegane@hotmail.com or VA Stele Pellaeon @ tieknt@gmail.com.

Also, the Vice Admiral has started his ship inspections with Wing I; so far so good.  Make sure you all have clean underwear on, I hear someone in Wing I failed that inspection.

~ As you know, there is a new comp going on!  It’s called ‘Holiday Fun’!  It is a multipart comp that involves flying, writing, and graphics! 

For the flying portion, you need to fly at least one of the following battles: TIE-TC 193; XvT-TC 81; and/or XWA-TC 26!  1^st and 2^nd place winners get Silver Wings and Bronze Wings, respectively.

For the fiction portion, it is a comp about any of the holidays currently going on.  Hanukah, Christmas, and/or New Year’s and anything else you can think of, but it must be this holiday related and if it’s not one of the above 3, I’d like to know what this holiday means and is for.  Also, it must include the wing and our activities during these times.  It could be a battle, a dinner, pretty much anything as long as it includes the wing and has a feel of the holidays.

For the graphics portion, you can create a picture that shows what the wing did/does during holidays!  It should be clean but sending one that is naughty is okay, it just won’t be sent out to the wing for viewing.  :P

Due date is January 31, 05

~ There are several open positions within the EH subgroups so if you are part of them and believe you can handle it, apply!

~ Currently (unless I’m mistaken) only CPT Clegane and I are part of the EH ‘Nation States’.  It only takes about 5 mins a day, if that.  You basically ‘create’ a nation and then do things to make it grow and things like that by choosing various policies.  Currently, we are members of the United Nations and I have a population of about 16 million ppl.  I recently ‘bought’ some military equipment (not that you really use it, but hey!).  I have a small Air Force and Army and an even smaller Navy, but they are growing…hopefully.  :P  go to www.nationstates.net and join up today!

 ~ Oh be ready...very ready for a massive Sov Vs. ATF comp which would include a whole lot of stuff going on!  Fiction, graphics, flying!  Be ready!

Due to HA Ari's recent resignation I'm looking for a new VBS professor.

Requirements:
- basic VBS knowledge
- ability to grade tests at least once a week
I will also require weekly reports about your graduates counts.

What the PROF position will give to you? You will become a professor, which is a highly responsible and respected position. There are also other benefits, like a nice office in the academic complex on planet Ullyr, additional week of vacation every year and a Gold Star for every 100 graduates.
NOTE: It is a part-time position, so you don't have to resign from your current position to become a professor.

1 Year COO Celebration Ladder!

Friday 17 December will mark my 1 year point as Combat Operations Officer. To celebrate this event I will be hosting a MP ladder all weekend at http://www.minos.net/~ssy/ladder/ladder.php/55. Pilots have the opportunity to fly XWA, XVT, and FW in 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, or skirmishes. All pilots who participate in this weekend ladder will receive bonus awards (its a secret) for their participation. On top of the bonus awards, pilots will receive LoCs for each win. DFCs will go out for the most wins, most matches, and highest ladder score. I highly encourage all pilots to fly as the rewards will be worth the effort.

I want to open Colossus COM for apps... if you could please post the following requirements:


Must have successfully held a CMDR position for at least six months in one squadron, or have served a complete tour of duty as a WC or above

No HCI convictions for Conduct Unbecoming

Familiarity with TIE (XWA/XvT experience as well is preferable)

Significant IRC presence

Quick email turnaround and admin accountability
Desire, knowledge and responsibility of and for running both internal and external competitions

A serious commitment to the quality of the ISD Colossus, and to making it productive, active and fun

More than anything, the ability to work as part of a team. Participation in discussions on the TCBG flag mailing list is of the utmost importance.

Applicants may provide up to three references, one of which must be a current or former superior, and one of which must be willing to answer questions about the applicant.

All applicants must also be prepared for an IRC/AIM/MSN interview with me.

Please also include ideas, goals, and what you believe you bring to this Ship that could take it to the top (as well as anything about yourself you think I’d like to know. Don’t worry about length, if you’ve got a lot to say, that’s fine, long as it’s substantial.)

         With CM Armagon’s superb level of activity, I am continuing last weeks party to this whole week as well.  But keep it down a bit, I hear Wing I is getting upset over all the fun Hades is having in the Cantina.    

The results are in:  Since there was a tie in the poll for what I have to do for my Promotion to Captain (between Dress in Drag and work at Cantina for a night and allowing Wing VII to tack on my new rank), I get to choose.  And since I want to be able to move and walk without pain…I will also be working the Cantina tonight during Hades party...and yes I will have on my barmaids outfit...just as soon as Colonel Turr lets me borrow his.
