Aurora Standard Date - January, 1st, 2005 - Report #39

A new year has begun. A fresh start with new opportunities. I wish you all a very happy 2005! That this year will
be your very best, in real life and in the EH. Let's hope our world won't have to suffer any more tragedies.

On the front of the TC and our beloved Fury squadron, things haven't exactly stood still. Currently, the EH celebrates
its tenth birthday and this hasn't gone unnoticed. There are a lot of competitions and other things going on. The
highlight will probably be the speech of GA Ronin and GA Astatine on 7 January. This will most likely be done with

for details on these cool events.

About our squadron: we have two brand new competitions running that require little time. The objective of the first
is to come up with a name for Mouse's personal starfighter (Deadline 7th of January). Yes, Xan, make jokes >:D.
The second competition is a puzzle. You'll have to find what Star Wars ships are displayed (Deadline 14th of January).

• My XvT Mission about Fury has been released. I got two reviews, both 5's. Wow!

• On a personal note, I am getting Jedi Academy soon! Yay!
  

Wing/BG News:

• Wing XIX won BGCOM's Judgment of December 2004!!! Great work all!!!
  
  
• WC Kane Reese and BGCOM TK-2107 are back from leave. COM Ky Terrak is still on leave of absence.
  
  
• Our BGCOM, VA TK-2107, has been promoted to full admiral. Congratulations!
  
  
• Our battlegroup is in need of new pilots.
  
  
• Avenger Task Force Multiplayer rumble: play any SW game you want in MP on IRC (channel: #atf) on
  sundays around: 22.00h GMT; 17.00h EST; 14.00h PST. I played several times and it is really fun
  to play with human opponents. Especially, 2 vs. 2 players was very cool. Try it!
  
  
• Story of the Lancers competition ended after 8 exciting tasks. LCM Cole Archer won overall with 4 wins (60p),
  second was I with 2 wins (61p), and a third place for CM Todar with 0 wins (37p). Nice work and
  congratulations Cole and Todar.
  
  
• MAJ Mouse Droid, CM Magus Vader, LCM Cole Archer, LT Milan Bozinovic got MSE awards.
