SQUADRON NEWS:

Welcome to the 22th Cobra Squadron Report. Heya gang how's it goin! Again I have to apologize for this being late but part of my problem is the ability to get on the internet from my hotel. We can't use our room phones so we have to use the hotel's services. This sometimes (more than most) is the major problem I face while trying to access the internet. Reason being is that they only have to computers which have access and there are apparently lots of people who have to get their internet fix :P

So I get here when I can to check mail and send reports, etc. I did manage to send out our MSE which wasn't to pleasing to send. Since not hardly anyone did anything worth reporting, save one and that is CM Hunterwolf who was the A-CMDR for the time I was on leave. Thanks to him everything went smoothly. My transition is almost complete, the only thing I have to do is find a place to live and get my internet connected so i can spend more time online with all of you. But for now you all will just have to work with me and help me out. Reporting in is the best way for me to know what your up to.

I am working on the "Cobra Story Time". Like I said its taking time, besides that I suck at writing so you'll have to be patient with me. I've started a story but its not yet complete enough to put in the report. I should have something more fluid by the end of this week. Anyone is welcome to contribute to Cobra Story Time if you can't do anything else and at least it will be activity :) I will be getting back to the order of business to help with recruiting, squadron activity, etc. but I'd like everyone else to put forth an effort as well.

Also, I would like you all to know, that finally I've been promoted in my RL military work (YAY!). I'm now an (E-6/Petty Officer 1st Class) for anyone who cares This in turn gives me more responsibility but it should not deter from my effort's here.

Hopefully soon we'll get some more comps running soon as well as better activity. Recently like last month CM Kakihara had a TC birthday giving him his second OV on 04.21.2004 good job for being so dedicated. Myself and Hunterwolf will have subsequent birthday's in about 2 months. So again I say keep up the good work ;)

Next I would like to stress about recruiting, I'm know we all suck at it but we must try, maybe we could persuade the FO to send us a new recruit, then again maybe not, its apparent that our recruiting skills are not the best and or we're just having dumb luck, but still please try, we need all the people we can get. If any of you have time, try looking thru the RSV ship phoenix roster and see if there are any prior Cobra members, then mail them and see if they would like to come back and join the fun.

Squadron Nick/Motto competition has been delayed so long that I will have to resubmit the comp to award any medals. So please standby for that.

SL2004 competition (Sovereign Squadron League 2004) has begun so Go Fly! Round #5 is on it's way, I'll forward the mail to you when I get it.

COBRA STORYTIME:

Story time will commence soon. Just remember if any of you have any inputs or stories you'd like me to show in the reports, then I suggest you write and send it to me as soon as you can ;) preferably by Thursday so that this gives me time to proof read and make any grammar or spelling corrections.

SQUADRON COMMANDER'S OFFICE:

• Projects or Goals:
  • Working on that new BOP battle I started a few weeks or so ago.
  • Finishing up a new BOP-FREE mission I have also been working on.
  • Started on on some new additions to the squadron website, but it may be delayed.

Activity to do: I would like everyone to try and at least do one of the following every week. Fly one FREE mission or battle a week, write a small piece of fiction, add a new reply to the current squadron run-on or something for the squadron message board, create a new FREE mission or new battle for the compendium, last of all I want at the least is a report from you saying I'm alive, well and kicking.

XO Words: Well here we are in another great report by Apophis and thought I'd just say I got the internet working as well as EHBL so you should be seeing me being active again next week and as always congratz to everyone who did some activity or at least reported in. -XO/FL-F3/CM Hunterwolf

Rewards: As all things come to an end, such as rewards for work accomplished. There were no medals posted this week, with none pending save the MSE ones, which I'm not sure if they were awarded or not, hopefully they will come soon. Just remember I will gladly get you a medal or promotion if you put forth the effort. I promise you I will if its within my power to get you these things. All you need to do is show me that your ready for it. Nuff said.
