SQUADRON NEWS:

Welcome to the 14th Cobra Squadron Report. First off, I though my initial move date  was to be the 12th of March,  However, this has been changed until Monday, 15 March. Yeah so your all stuck with me for the weekend and that my report will go out as planned. Now leaving on Monday gives me and opportunity to travel during the week allowing you guys time to do some work while the old cat is away ;). Just  let you know that I will probably take a few days leave starting on Monday so that I can drive to Virginia in peace :). Not to worry I will have access to email when I get there so you won't think I went off and left you. Reports should still go out. I will make arrangements for someone to do your BSFs if you all ever do any while I'm in transit to Japan, because during that time I will not have email access, but I will let you know when I will be departing.

Onto this weeks report. Since there was not much going on this week I assumed that everyone took an additional  bit of time off to recuperate from the ASF comp? I know we didn't produce that well but come on guys, don't let it get you down :P besides that the only one who has done any work was Ghostrider. Eve he did hardly squat but I commend him on doing something. I say though lets get some stuff going I have submitted for a new Top Gun comp, which was denied cuz the TO doesn't like it if the CMDR can win, (sore loser). However I have updated it and we'll see how long it takes him to approve it now :P

Next I would like to stress about recruiting, I'm sure we all suck at it but we must try, maybe we could persuade the FO to send us a new recruit, then again maybe not, its apparent that our recruiting skills are not the best and or we're just having dumb luck, but still please try, we need all the people we can get. If any of you have time, try looking thru the RSV ship phoenix roster and see if there are any prior Cobra members, then mail them and see if they would like to come back and join the fun.

Remember you slithering snakes, Go RECRUIT. nuff said!

WAR ROOM NEWS:

ASF:SC over final results still pending.

Squadron Nick/Motto competition over I'll decide the winner soon, not yet decided, but will be this weekend before I take off on vacation.

New Comp SL2004 (Sovereign Squadron League 2004) has begun and I have mailed you all the beginning mission to do so please try and participate cuz I will to the best of my ability. Go Fly! cuz I did. This first few times is was rough but I managed to fly it through. If your not the best flyer then I suppose you'd better do the mission on easy ;)

COBRA STORYTIME:

This is a new section and will include a brief story from me each week hopefully :) I warn you all that I'm not the best story write, but I do try. I will also be trying to complete my original story I put on the Cobra MB and submitting it to the XO for submission to the EH Newsletter. Maybe this old guy will finally get an LoA, we'll see. If any of you have any inputs or stories you'd like me to show in the reports, then I suggest you write and send it to me as soon as you can ;)

SQUADRON COMMANDER'S OFFICE:

• Projects or Goals:
  • Working on that new BOP battle I started a few weeks or so ago.
  • Finishing up a new BOP-FREE mission I have also been working on.
  • Started on on some new additions to the squadron website, but it may be delayed.

Activity to do: I would like everyone to try and at least do one of the following every week. Fly one FREE mission or battle a week, write a small piece of fiction, add a new reply to the current squadron run-on or something for the squadron message board, create a new FREE mission or new battle for the compendium, last of all I want at the least is a report from you saying I'm alive, well and kicking.

Rewards: As all things come to an end, such as rewards for work accomplished. There were no medals posted this week, with none pending save the MSE ones, which I'm not sure if they were awarded or not, hopefully they will come soon. Just remember I will gladly get you a medal or promotion if you put forth the effort. I promise you I will if its within my power to get you these things. All you need to do is show me that your ready for it. Nuff said.
