SQUADRON NEWS:

Welcome to the 13th Cobra Squadron Report. Hey gang glad to have you all here, all 5 of us :P, unfortunately we lost 2 of them due to long tern no contact or even worse no activity. We are all a part of the team and that means everyone must contribute to the wellfare of the Squadron, if that can't happen then they gotta go. And they did, off to the Phoenix they went. In case your wondering it was LT's Calista and Buttnoise. I hated to see them off, but sorry to say that their activity level was rather nil over the last few weeks or so. Plus the FO was tired of seeing dead weight in squadrons as am I.

But for those of you who are left I applaud you for your efforts during the ASF:SC competition. Everyone did everything at the minimum that I asked of them and that's great. Not sure what our overall score was, but is was atleast around 800 according to my records, unfortunately that wasn't enough to win much but we gave it our shot with what we had at our disposal. I thank each and everyone of you who gave it their all for Cobra, maybe next time we will show them what we're really made of, right?

Lastly from me, I will be moving from my house on the 12th of March and flying out to Japan on the 24th. Have to visit my folks ya know :) but don't worry I will have access to email just to let you all know so you won't think I went off and left you. Reports should still go out. About my moving, I will talk to a fellow CMDR to do our BSFs if I'm not able, but for the moment I don't see any problems, everything should run smoothly. I may take a few days off in order to fly to Japan, but rest assurd its only a temporary leave period. Like I said everything should still go as normal, if anything changes I will let ya know.

Lastly, lastly, I would like to appeal to the FO to send us a new recruit so we can have a minimum number of 6 in our squadron, since its apparent that our recruiting skills suck somewhat :P but still please try, we need all the people we can get. If any of you have time, try looking thru the RSv ship phoenix and see if there are any prior Cobra members, then mail them and see if they would like to come back and join the fun.

SQUADRON COMMANDER'S OFFICE:

• Projects or Goals:
  • All my current goals were shot to hell, not enough time in my days to do what I wanted for this comp, sorry guys, I hope I haven't let you all down.

Activity to do: I would like everyone to try and atleast do one of the following every week. Fly one FREE mission or battle a week, write a small piece of fiction, add a new reply to the current squadron run-on or something for the squadron message board, create a new FREE mission or new battle for the compendium, last of all I want at the least is a report from you saying I'm alive, well and kicking.

Rewards: Well as all things come to an end as such so do rewards for work accomplished. There were 2 medals posted this week, with one pending, hopefully it will come soon. But I fear it will have to wait until the return of the COM, oh well. But I am looking at some possible upcoming squadron moves which can help benefit as well as hurt. But I'm trying to work some stuff out before I decide on a couple of things. Just remember I will gladly get you a medal or promotion if you put forth the effort. I promise you I will if its within my power to get you these things. All you need to do is show me that your ready for it. Nuff said.
