VA Stele is accepting applications for Wing II’s Wing Commander. 

The November Battle of the Month has been announced, fly TIETC-220, XvTTC-100, and/or XWATC-37.  Due date is November 30^th. 

I am once again going to attempt to have a Run On competition on the Hades MB, details coming soon.  Pets get some participation this time around.  I am also going to start up a bi-weekly flying competition…I will assign a free mission that has to be flown, you will have two weeks to fly it and get it in to me. 

Flight 2 FL has been open for some time now, and not a single one of you is interested?

Flight 2 is in need of a Flight Leader.  If you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot filled ASAP.  I have also posted a recruitment message on the MB’s.

Imperial Storm running, Admiral Proton and I need some volunteers to be scouts…if interested contact Admiral Proton at: hullbreach@gmail.com.  The Admiral and I have recruited Colonel Turr to run a Fleet and Guard one of our planets.  Thanks Colonel

TE IX: New Republic vs Empire

I know this is short notice, but the EH's aid has only just been requested in tonight's FW Territorial Engagement. The New Republic will be attacking the ISD Chimaera and Golan I Station in the Bilbringi System.

The battle will start at 11PM GMT / 6PM EST. As usual, we will meet in #isd_predator 30mins before the start to issue orders and discuss the defence plan. Also be on Team Speak if you can. Full details can be found on the Burnout site here.

Overview

The Communications Officer (COMM) is responsible for maintaining the good working operation of communication media in the EH. Specifically this covers maintaining the ops list in the main IRC channel, reviewing operation of the message boards and related activities. The COMM also provides technical consultancy and training to members and the Command Staff in relevant areas.

Selection Criteria - Essential

1. Good written communication skills
2. An acceptable level of presence in online media such as IRC, message boards, etc.
3. Fast email response time.
4. The ability to work with a range of EH personnel, including the Executive Officer.
5. Experience at some level of command.

Selection Criteria - Desirable

1. Proven experience in the management of an IRC channel
2. Proven experience in related and/or relevent fields of work.

Addressing the Selection Criteria

When addressing the selection criteria, you must supply supporting evidence to back up your claim of meeting the criteria. A generally accepted model is the STAR model, where you outline a Situation, Task, Action and Resolution relating to the criteria. You should meet at least the essential criteria to be considered for the position.

References

You must include at least three (3) references in your application. At least one must be a current or former superior (preferably current). Ensure you have their permission first. If it is found out that you have used someone's name without their permission, your application will be disqualified.

Performance Management

Performance will be evaluated in a number of key areas. These include submission of reports, number of complaints from members, online conduct, achieving tasks and duties outlined in the Training Manual, as well as tasks outlined in the EH Tasks List for this position. Above average performance will be rewarded, while below average performance, if continual, will result in removal from the position.

     With the appointment of General to SOVCOM, and the promotion to Vice Admiral…The VA has informed me that with his new pay increase the drinks are on him for the rest of the month…but pleat, do not tell the VA where you heard this.

     I have been pretty lenient up to this point on the simplest activity, like reporting in, until this time due to the Summer and school starting up again.  Most of you should be back and settled so send me an email and let me know what’s up if you have not.
