• What's this, you ask?  Why, a report!  I put them out every Thursday.  What, you say you haven't gotten the last two?  Hmm...I'll have to look into it.... :P

• Seriously, I'd like to apologize to everyone for missing the last two weeks.  Unfortunately reality is where I end up spending more and more of my time lately.  I quit my full-time job so I could focus more on flying (real flying, not the TC) so I'm ramping up my studies as well as looking for a part-time job at the same time.  Once things stabilize I should be able to better function as commander again.  I still intend to remain in command of Hornet, for the time being at least.

• However, if any of you are interested in taking over the reigns of the squadron I know we have a very gifted and enthusiastic group of pilots.  I would be honored to serve under anyone currently in the squadron, and could even function as the squadron XO to help "show you the ropes" if the job intimidates you.  However, since RL has been going around the squad (and indeed the entire TC) like the plague in the last couple months and no one has even stepped up to take the FL spots, I doubt anyone will step up to take CMDR.

• That's OK though, since like I said I still intend to remain in command, as I am very attached to this job.  I just thought I'd extend the invitation to all of you, since now may not be a bad time to make a transition.  Once again, see me if you are interested.  Otherwise, see you in the next report!

• Oh yeah, there's been some actual news since the last report.  Justin was promoted to COM, Airyu was promoted to WC, and I think all the other squadrons had at least one commander change :P (except Python).  Also, the White Sox won the World Series!  Ok so maybe I have my colors mixed up.  The South Siders are actually my team, but seeing as how they haven't won a title since 1917, the above "typo" is probably the closest I'll ever be able to get to saying that.  :P
