Things are looking up; this week I got a return receipt from a Flight Member, and even a real (!) Email from a Flight leader!
Who knows; perhaps next week someone will actually fly!!!

Freeworlds 1.65
HA Priyum Patel
The next Freeworlds version, 1.65, is due to be released within a week, if not sooner. This new version is hugely improved over the current mod, bringing 8 new systems (including Bastion, Kuat, Kessel, Calamari) and over 20 new fighters and transports, such as the TIE Cyclone, Marauder Corvette and Gallofree Transport.
In addition to these, trade routes have been overhauled to give Traders new ways of earning cash. Fighter pilots have not been forgotten either, with the mission system receiving a very welcome revamp (including the addition of the infamous $1,000,000 Missions - watch out for the Dreadnoughts).
The EH has had it's new 1.65 ship list finally approved and I'm very pleased to be able to present it here:

If you're interested in getting into Freeworlds, now is the perfect time as the closing days of 1.64 will allow you to learn all the basics and at the same time anticipate the new mod with the rest of us who already play. The best way to learn about FW is to have a look over the following sites:

Online battle/mission submission form

Tactical Office is proud to announce the release of the "Online Mission Submission Form". Until today, you had to search the database for TAC's mail (like it was something difficult :P) and then write a mail. You could often forget attaching pilot or even mission file. Now, it's over.
Visit this webpage fill the form you find there and hit submit. And the you go. You will receive confirmation email. Don't forget to attach both battle and pilot file!

Bizarre Titles
Use your noggins here. The task is to come up with the most outlandish title for yourself possible. For instance, a good title would be "Purple Monkey Dishwasher". Points are awarded for creativity and randomness, and are judged by yours truly.
Winner gets an IS-SR, gets to come up with a strange title for me.
Second place gets an IS-BR, and gets to keep their title in their ID line for a month or so.
Rating Races
FCHG and Combat Rating races, except this time, I'll actually keep track of them. IS-SW to the winners, IS-BW to second place.
