Aurora Standard Date - November, 5th, 2004 - Report #32

Pilots, you already know this, but I am telling you again. If you want to earn medals, promotions and
personal glory, participating in competitions is your fastest road. I really admire pilots that do.

On another note, the ATF will focus a bit more on roleplaying in the following months. Flying (FW, XvT,
XWA,TIE, BOP) still is our core business. But if you like other things, these will be your months. Show us
that you like it, by taking part in these competitions.

WC Kane Reese has just launched his Wing XIX: The Story of Lancers competition. Every period, Kane will
give us an assignment. With these assignments, he will develop a storyline. This period, we have to find a picture
of a shipwreck on the internet. If you provide him with the web address, you can earn points and ultimately medals.
This period (Task I: Webhunt) runs until the 10th of November. See the separate e-mail or below for details.

I have decided to extend the wing flying competition - Wing XIX: Wings of Durasteel for two more weeks.
So guys, this is your chance! Grab your joystick, jump into the cockpit and fly a half hour. Simple.
There are a lot of medals up for grabs. Look below for more details.

Additionally, our Wing needs your help. With just a few days to turn in your creations for BJ, you would
have to be quick, but remember: participation counts, it doesn't have to be masterpiece.

• I have extended the Wing XIX flying competition - Wing XIX: Wings of Durasteel.

• We have a new wing competition: Wing XIX: The Story of Lancers. Find a Star Wars ship
  wreck on the internet and send the URL to COL Kane Reese. See below for details.
  
  
• As always, BGCOM's Judgment is running. Slightly different rules. Free Worlds and Trivia
  have been added as sections.
  
  
• BGCOM TK-2107 will make the ATF Trivia easier next month, because a lot of you thought it was
  too difficult.
  
  
• Secret ATF projects being worked on.
  

EH/Tie Corps News:

• EH Communication Officer (COMM) is open for applications.
  
  
• Thanks to the Tactical Officer (TAC) all missions and battles that had custom voices before
  the introduction of the EHBL now have these voices added again.
  
  
• Tonight, the 9th Territorial Engagement in Free Worlds will happen! Fly for the Empire against
  the evil New Republic. Defend the ISD Chimaera and Golan I in the Bilbringi system.
