• Well I said I'd be busy this month and I wasn't kidding.  I'm renewing my flight instructor's license, which has to be done every two years.  In addition to that, I'm also pushing really hard to upgrade it to an instrument instructor's license before Thanksgiving. (imagine teaching someone to play instruments and to fly at the same time!) (yuk yuk yuk)
  

• Despite all our RL business there is still somehow some activity to speak of.  Many of you are still using the message boards to chat with your squadmates and I think that's good.  Those of you who haven't found much use for them yet are definitely encouraged to post "hi" every once in a while, plus it looks better than "no contact" next to your name for activity. :)

• Grimlock has started a new run-on as well (this was last week, I know).  I've stickied it so that we don't forget about it.  :P

• There were some medals awarded this week for the August BGCOM's Legate competition.  Congrats to Weeks, Grimlock, and Jer (that's me).  I also won the Vanguard Warz competition and came home with an Iron Star: Silver Wings.

• I finally got my official EH Free Worlds player tag today.  Below you can see a picture of my brand new Tie Clutch, the designated fighter of the Free Worlds squadron that I'm in.  I took the picture in front of the ISD Invincible in the Bespin system.  No, the ships aren't really blue.  It's just that the system seems to have some blue light which makes everything look blue. But I like the color. ;)  FW is a lot of fun and is a refreshing change from our beloved Tie, XvT, and XWA platforms.  If you are at all interested I suggest you start by downloading the Freelancer demo and/or taking the Free Worlds IWATS.
