Greetings, and glory to the Empire!

Our former commander, Major Zeth Durron, has been promoted to Wing Commander of Wing II. As such, I have been promoted to commanding officer of Psi Squadron – this will be my first weekly squadron report. Though I am very excited about VA Stele and MAJ Durron’s placement into the upper echelons of the Emperor’s Hammer organization, their departure from Wing II and Psi Squadron, respectively, present new challenges to our unit.

In particular, our unit has dropped below six pilots for the first time since I first joined. Our top priority must be recruitment and welcoming new pilots to the Emperor’s Hammer fleet. I have already taken steps to welcome and introduce myself to newer cadets on the Daedalus – one actually stopped by in #airlock54 yesterday – and will approach Zeth and Stele about what other options I have.

Not only do these reduced numbers rescind all of our Squadron Citations, they further inhibit us in Wing and inter-unit competitions – a place I would definitely like to see Psi continue to excel. Any help you can provide along the lines of new membership is always appreciated...you all definitely helped me make my decision to join Psi, so I know you have it in you!

Don’t worry, my opening statement will (hopefully) not be that long in future reports.

Aside from my above comments, you currently have two standing orders at both the Wing and SOVCOM levels.

The first is the Revenge of the Veterans competition.

Since it appears the Rookies defeated the Veterans of Wing II due to their decisive victories in the XvT and XWA divisions, this competition will be a TIE platform competition only. Pilots should fly TIE-TC Battle #171 and submit it to me no later than Sunday, November 28, 2004. Points are to each faction as follows: 5pts for first place, 3pts for second place, 2pts for third place and 1pt for participating. All Wing II pilots with under two years in the fleet are considered “rookies.” Those with more than two years are considered “veterans.” Full competition details can be found at:

The second is the SSSD Sovereign Battle of the Month competition.

Some important political updates for Freeworlders - our Allies & Hostiles list has been updated to reflect recent events:

• The following Factions are now hostile to us: Disac Pirates , Privateer Fleet, Black Sun (see below) and the Trade Federation.
• The TF were added because they repeatedly attacked our traders under the guise of "Commerce Raiding". Unacceptable.
• We have an Alliance with the Empire (pretty much the same as it was in 1.64).
• We have a non-aggression trade agreement between our traders and the Black Sun - This allows Wampa and Argosy Squadrons to trade in the Y'Toub & Kessel Systems, but they may not dock at Black Sun bases or trade in Spice. All other EH tags remain hostile. The cost for this is $15,000,000 per week payable by any Wampa, Argosy or EHC character to Barticus (assuming they have the money). Payment must be reported to myself and Keller immediately.

Also note that you may NOT have characters in two factions that are hostile to each other. This means if you have an EH tag and a TF tag, you must suspend one of these characters for as long as the hostilities continue. If you choose not to continue the EH character, then please stay out of #ISD_Predator for obvious reasons. If this effects you, please let me know.
