In honor of that I have placed a poll on the Squadron Message Board @ http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=115.  I have a list of ‘hazing’ options for what you would like to see me have to do in honor of my recent promotion.  Check it out and submit your vote. 

I have also placed a poll for the current Squadron Nickname, which is Raven Guard.  This is a fine nickname, but if you would like to see it changed vote on the Message Board.  So far, looks like Raven Guard is going to be staying as Nickname.  I want to run a Motto Competition, but need to be sure this is the Nickname we want first (A Banner comp will follow the Motto Comp).

The November Battle of the Month has been announced; fly TIETC-220, XvTTC-100, and/or XWATC-37.  Due date is November 30^th. 

We have two Squadron Comps that started today.  One is a flying Comp; Fly TIETC 200 and send me the pilot file.  Highest scorer gets Iron Star w/ Bronze Wings.  Ends on December 10^th, 2004.

The other is a Run On being held on the Hades Message Board, http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=115.  This will run until 17 December, 2004.

Still Pending:  I am also going to start up a bi-weekly flying competition…I will assign a free mission that has to be flown, you will have two weeks to fly it and get it in to me.   

Flight 2 FL has been open for some time now, and not a single one of you is interested?

Flight 2 is in need of a Flight Leader.  If you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot filled ASAP.  I have also posted a recruitment message on the MB’s.

Imperial Storm running, but has been placed on hold for a bit.  I need some volunteers to be scouts…if interested contact me @ sclegane@hotmail.com or VA Stele Pellaeon @ tieknt@juno.com.

Also, the Vice Admiral is going to start a ship inspection soon.  Make sure you all have clean underwear on.

Some important political updates for Freeworlders - our Allies & Hostiles list has been updated to reflect recent events:

• The following Factions are now hostile to us: Disac Pirates, Privateer Fleet, Black Sun (see below) and the Trade Federation.
• The TF were added because they repeatedly attacked our traders under the guise of "Commerce Raiding". Unacceptable.
• We have an Alliance with the Empire (pretty much the same as it was in 1.64).
• We have a non-aggression trade agreement between our traders and the Black Sun - This allows Wampa and Argosy Squadrons to trade in the Y'Toub & Kessel Systems, but they may not dock at Black Sun bases or trade in Spice. All other EH tags remain hostile. The cost for this is $15,000,000 per week payable by any Wampa, Argosy or EHC character to Barticus (assuming they have the money). Payment must be reported to myself and Keller immediately.

Also note that you may NOT have characters in two factions that are hostile to each other. This means if you have an EH tag and a TF tag, you must suspend one of these characters for as long as the hostilities continue. If you choose not to continue the EH character, then please stay out of #ISD_Predator for obvious reasons. If this effects you, please let me know.

After reviewing the applications sent to the Flight Office, BubbaX has been found to be the best fit for the Battlegroup. With his knowledge of many of the platforms including FreeWorlds and JTL, I am hoping that he will lead the TIEBG to new heights!

So with that, BubbaX is the new Tie Corps BattleGroup Commodore!

     With the appointment of General to SOVCOM, and the promotion to Vice Admiral…The VA has informed me that with his new pay increase the drinks are on him for the rest of the month…but please, do not tell the VA where you heard this.

    With my promotion to Captain the drinks are on me also, just let the bartender know to put on the Captain Clegane’s Promotion Tab and it will be promptly paid…as soon as I get the proper accounts hacked.

     I have been pretty lenient up to this point on the simplest activity, like reporting in, until this time due to the Summer and school starting up again.  Most of you should be back and settled so send me an email and let me know what’s up if you have not.
