I have been promoted to Captain and awarded an ISM.  Yea for me J.  In honor of that I have placed a poll on the Squadron Message Board @ http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewforum.php?f=115.  I have a list of ‘hazing’ options for what you would like to see me have to do in honor of my recent promotion.  Check it out and submit your vote. 

I have also placed a poll for the current Squadron Nickname, which is Raven Guard.  This is a fine nickname, but if you would like to see it changed vote on the Message Board.  I want to run a Motto Competition, but need to be sure this is the Nickname we want first (A Banner comp will follow the Motto Comp).

The November Battle of the Month has been announced; fly TIETC-220, XvTTC-100, and/or XWATC-37.  Due date is November 30^th. 

I am once again going to attempt to have a Run On competition on the Hades MB, details coming soon.  I have put a couple comps in for approval, one is a new run on and the other is a flying mission.  Details to follow.   I am also going to start up a bi-weekly flying competition…I will assign a free mission that has to be flown, you will have two weeks to fly it and get it in to me.   Let’s get some participation this time around.   

Flight 2 FL has been open for some time now, and not a single one of you is interested?

Flight 2 is in need of a Flight Leader.  If you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot filled ASAP.  I have also posted a recruitment message on the MB’s.

Imperial Storm running, but has been placed on hold for a bit.  I need some volunteers to be scouts…if interested contact me @ sclegane@hotmail.com or VA Stele Pellaeon @ tieknt@juno.com.

Also, the Vice Admiral is going to start a ship inspection soon.  Make sure you all have clean underwear on.

Freeworlds 1.65 Released!

The new version of Freeworlds, 1.65, has been officially released! It can be downloaded from http://usa.assassinsden.com/Default.aspx?tabid=89. Note - you must be logged in before you can download anything from the Burnout site.

Tactical Office is proud to announce the release of the "Online Mission Submission Form". Until today, you had to search the database for TAC's mail (like it was something difficult :P) and then write a mail. You could often forget attaching pilot or even mission file. Now, it's over.

Visit this webpage fill the form you find there and hit submit. And the you go. You will receive confirmation email. Don't forget to attach both battle and pilot file.

Freeworlds 1.65

The next Freeworlds version, 1.65, is due to be released within a week, if not sooner. This new version is hugely improved over the current mod, bringing 8 new systems (including Bastion, Kuat, Kessel, Calamari) and over 20 new fighters and transports, such as the TIE Cyclone, Marauder Corvette and Gallofree Transport. In addition to these, trade routes have been overhauled to give Traders new ways of earning cash. Fighter pilots have not been forgotten either, with the mission system receiving a very welcome revamp (including the addition of the infamous $1,000,000 Missions - watch out for the Dreadnoughts). The EH has had it's new 1.65 ship list finally approved and I'm very pleased to be able to present it here:

Some of these ships may be unfamiliar to you as they exist only on the server. We've received an extremely good range of fighters, transports and bombers.

If you're interested in getting into Freeworlds, now is the perfect time as the closing days of 1.64 will allow you to learn all the basics and at the same time anticipate the new mod with the rest of us who already play. The best way to learn about FW is to have a look over the following sites:

• IWATS Freeworlds - The majority of the information contained within the notes are still extremely pertinent and serve as a good primer to getting connected onto the server and playing.
• ISD Predator Info - This site details how FW currently works within the TIE Corps, including things like awards.
• http://usa.assassinsden.com/ - The homepage of the FW Server we play on.

     With the appointment of General to SOVCOM, and the promotion to Vice Admiral…The VA has informed me that with his new pay increase the drinks are on him for the rest of the month…but please, do not tell the VA where you heard this.

    With my promotion to Captain the drinks are on me also, just let the bartender know to put on the Captain Clegane’s Promotion Tab and it will be promptly paid…as soon as I get the proper accounts hacked.

     I have been pretty lenient up to this point on the simplest activity, like reporting in, until this time due to the Summer and school starting up again.  Most of you should be back and settled so send me an email and let me know what’s up if you have not.
