VA Stele is accepting
applications for Wing II’s Wing Commander.
The November Battle of
the Month has been announced, fly
TIETC-220, XvTTC-100, and/or XWATC-37.
Due date
is November 30th.
I
am once again going to attempt to have a Run On competition on the Hades MB,
details coming soon. Pets get some
participation this time around. I am
also going to start up a bi-weekly flying competition…I will assign a free
mission that has to be flown, you will have two weeks to fly it and get it in
to me.
Flight 2 FL has been
open for some time now, and not a single one of you is interested?
Flight
2 is in need of a Flight Leader. If
you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot
filled ASAP. I have also posted a
recruitment message on the MB’s.
Imperial
Storm running, Admiral Proton and I need some volunteers to
be scouts…if interested contact Admiral Proton at: hullbreach@gmail.com. The Admiral and I have recruited Colonel Turr to run a
Fleet and Guard one of our planets.

Due to the unforseen departue of RA Thorin Oakenshield, and LC
La'an's subsequent promotion, the position of Wing IX Wing Commander is now
open for applications. Any applicant must meet the standard requirements for
WC
Please only apply if you have previous experience as a CMDR or WC. All applications
must include a basic long-term plan for the wing, as well as any relevant
ideas you have for further development, competitions etc..
Applications will be taken until November 6th, and must be sent to RA La'an
at thisisquitealongaddress@yahoo.com, with the subject Wing IX WC App.

It's been suggested that to become more active in the non-play
aspect of the Freeworlds server, we need to have a greater presence on Team
Speak. For those of you who aren't aware of what TS is, it's basically an
application that allows people to speak to other in real-time, with multiple
channels. It can be downloaded for free from the TS website.
The server address is ts.assassinsden.com, but before you can
connect, you also need an account. PM Burnout with a desired username
and password and he'll get you all set. To chat you'll obviously need a
microphone, but you won't need one to listen. Remember that you're expected
to be courteseous and polite at all times - no matter what's being discussed.
Just keep in mind idea behind the Codes of Conduct
and you should do fine. If we get enough users, I'll look into holding
regular meetings there.
Update
I've been given access to register people on TS. Email me your desired
username and password and I'll add you. We have our own EH channel also, ask
me for the password.

Freeworlders: There is a Territory Engagement tomorrow night
at Midnight GMT / 1900 EST. It will be Empire vs New Republic and the
targets are the Golan Arms Station & Jedi Academy. Check the
Burnout Forums for the password, or ask me on IRC/Email. As usual, we will be
meeting in #isd_predator 30 minutes before the start to discuss the
battle plan.
Those of you keeping up to date with the latest goings on in the FW universe
should be aware of the many negative perceptions the EH currently has amongst
the general FW community - the huge majority of them being simply untrue and
based on idle sniping and gossip. This TE is pretty much our last chance to
show the server that we are active, good Role-Players and active participants
in server events. Please make every effort to attend and take part. Thank
you.
A quick last point to those with other non-EH characters. It's been suggested
that if you die (during non-TE skirmishes), you shouldn't swap to another
character that has a better ship and rejoin the fray. Apparently this is
happening a lot and I'd have to agree that this is bad form. Please don't do
it.

From now until the Nov 12, 2004 I will be accepting
applications for the position of TIEBGCOM. All the requirments that have been
posted numerous times apply.
I would prefer dedicated members of the TIEBG to apply and these members to
have held the position of COM or higher.
Have TIEBGCOM application in the subject header.
Since AD Mell is not leaving for another month, don't bug me with any
questions about when am I going to pick the spot. I will have someone
appointed the same minute AD Mell steps down :)

neutral with us. You can dock at Freedom One, as long as you pay their tax.

With the appointment of General to SOVCOM, and the promotion
to Vice Admiral…The VA has informed me that with his new pay increase the
drinks are on him for the rest of the month…but pleat, do not tell the VA
where you heard this.
I have been pretty lenient up to this point on the simplest
activity, like reporting in, until this time due to the Summer and school
starting up again. Most of you should
