SQUADRON NEWS:

Welcome to the 43rd Cobra Squadron Report. Well to start off I'd like to add that not everyone has been reporting in like they should be. All the while I finally got my new joystick in and I flew a battle which is pending WC submission as well as I have taken a IWATS course. Which all means what? Well it means that I've actually contributed to some activity for the squadron. Oh well, again like last week, there was no real activity to report on except for that which I have done. Again I hate to stress that activity means doing something and if you don't do anything then I can't count it. And if I can't count activity then I really need to re-evaluate the squadron as a whole.

For starters, if you all don't start reporting in then after said amount of time then you will be sent to the reserves. This is not a threat, it is a promise. Because if I can do something, then so can you, regardless if it's flying or writing fiction to even creating some GFX. Which are all really simple in nature to do, all you need to do is apply yourself. If you can not do a simple task then maybe you'd better re-evaluate yourselves and as to whether or not you should be here or not. Cuz for some, if nothing comes across my desk in 3 more weeks someone will be sent to the reserves. I mean if I can create a battle for the fleet, do an IWATS course and fly a battle then you can to. Nuff said on that.

CMDR's Work: I have regained my ability to fly accurately, yes I got my new stick and will be flying more now. So maybe by the middle of October I will reach my goal of 1000 FCHG points. I created and got approved BOP-FREE 33 "Cool Hand Luke", go fly it and make a review. I also took IWATS IBX and got a 100%.

Well it's too late for anything to do for September MSE as I will be doing it first thing tomorrow morning when I get up. Best you guys can do is to prepare yourselves for activity in October which is already upon us. However, there may not be any medals awarded for September except maybe for me :P So if you want some medals then remember to submit your fiction, flying, graphics and just about anything else you can think of. Another thing to remember is that I will also accept any work for those of you who are doing FW on your spare time. So please don't forget to send me any activity you have for this platform. I will add it to the report and get you any rewards in which you are entitled to.

My Mission Creation wars which is due at the end of this month might have to be short lived due to my bad stick, meaning I can't test anything very well. It's hard enough flying missions already created. But I'm gonna try, so again I'll be very busy trying to make this work out. If anyone needs me please use email. This is the fastest way to make contact with me right now, so I have minimum distractions. Thanks.

(SP) FCHG Stuff: MAJ Apophis Kuma is the current leader so far doing SP flying, followed behind by nobody, I will be flying some more later today or this week, my goal is to reach Gladiator by the middle of the month or earlier but we'll see how that goes.

Note: Don't forget my email address is apophis@blacksunalliance.org so be sure to update your address books. Remember you slithering snakes, DO SOME ACTIVITY! nuff said!

That's it for this week, cya next time!

SQUADRON COMMANDER'S OFFICE:

  • Projects or Goals:
    • Working on Mission Creation Wars project (details not yet released)
    • Working on a new BOP battle (details not yet released)
    • Website coding is on hold atm.
  • Completed Projects of Goals:
    • Created a new BOP-FREE battle (Called: "Cool Hand" Luke) release date: 2004.07.27

Activity to do: I would like everyone to try and at least do one of the following every week. Fly one FREE mission or battle a week, write a small piece of fiction, make a graphic, add a new reply to the current squadron run-on or something for the squadron message board, create a new FREE mission or new battle for the compendium, last of all I want at the least is a report from you saying I'm alive, well and kicking.

XO Words

Once again...no activity *sigh*  Guys if my activity keeps being this low I may have to step down from my XO poistion and request a more active person to replace me...I mean I went from most active person to not active at all!  I may even have to be AWOL!  So I'll keep you guys posted, cya next week.

 -XO/FL-F3/CM Hunterwolf

Rewards: As all things come to an end, such as rewards for work accomplished. There were no medals posted this week, with none pending save the MSE ones, which I'm not sure if they were awarded or not, hopefully they will come soon. Just remember I will gladly get you a medal or promotion if you put forth the effort. I promise you I will if its within my power to get you these things. All you need to do is show me that your ready for it. Nuff said.

Have a great day!
