Reporting in for Hades Squadron on October 16, 2004 ]]>Squadron News<[[ The Sov got some really sad news this week, Admiral
Proton is stepping down as Commodore after 3 long, hard, and productive
years. I have served under Admiral
Proton in different Sov Wings and Squads on and off since he was appointed
COM in September 2001. He has always
been the ‘Model’ Commodore and leader.
He will be missed. Flight 2 FL has been
open for some time now, and not a single one of you is interested? Flight
2 is in need of a Flight Leader. If
you would like the position email me and let me know, I want to get this spot
filled ASAP. I have also posted a
recruitment message on the MB’s. Imperial
Storm running, Admiral Proton and I need some volunteers to
be scouts…if interested contact Admiral Proton at: hullbreach@gmail.com. The Admiral and I have recruited Colonel Turr to run a
Fleet and Guard one of our planets.

has always been the ‘Model’ Commodore and leader. He will be missed. ]]>TIE Corps News<[[ Wing XVI WC Appointed Windows XP SP2 and You. As
it looks now, SP2 will not run a utility called "TIEPATCH.EXE",
something which we use in all patches, also not when you use the XPInstaller.
We
will be replacing this utility ASAP but for the time being: if you want to
play missions that use patches do not install XP SP2. Note: Uninstalling
SP2 doesn't work, it will just remain on your system and pretend its not
there.
The
Internet Officer (IO) is responsible for providing technical consultancy to
the membership of the Emperor's Hammer on matters relating to the Internet,
such as web hosting, website construction and other areas. In addition, the
position oversees a number of ongoing projects, such as the EH Message
boards, Image Archive, etc. Selection
Criteria – Essential 1.
Good written communication skills Selection
Criteria – Desirable 1.
Proven experience and knowledge of at least one server side scripting
language (ie. ASP, PHP, JSP, etc) Addressing
the Selection Criteria When
addressing the selection criteria, you must supply supporting evidence to
back up your claim of meeting the criteria. A generally accepted model is the
STAR model, where you outline a Situation, Task, Action and Resolution
relating to the criteria. You should meet at least the essential criteria to
be considered for the position. References You
must include at least three (3) references in your application. At least one
must be a current or former superior (preferably current). Ensure you have
their permission first. If it is found out that you have used someone's name
without their permission, your application will be disqualified. Performance
Management Performance
will be evaluated in a number of key areas. These include submission of
reports, number of complaints from members, online conduct, achieving tasks
and duties outlined in the Training Manual, as well as tasks outlined in the
EH Tasks List for this position. Above average performance will be rewarded,
while below average performance, if continual, will result in removal from
the position. Submitting

criteria and other relevant details, such as your ID line and contact

Command experience, preferably at CMDR level or above, for no less than 4
