Greetings Tartarus, today we have 15th October, 2004. Welcome to my #8 report as Tartarus CMDR. This report will summarize the last two weeks. 1. FA Bevel Leeson resigned, and IO Command spot is open for applications. Again. all the requirements on the main TC page. 2. VA Ky Terrak is hosting a "Tattoo of the Empire" competition. More details in the competition section. 3. SSL finally reached its end. Complete list of results on the main TC page and Message Boards. Congratulations to all winners. 4. Proton resigned from SOV COM spot. Mell resigned from the TCBG BGCOM position. 5. Wing XVI WC sought (Wing XVI is the Freeworlds based wing in the fleet). Requirements as usual, on the TC page. 6. PREX and PRF positions are still open for applications. 1. Overconfident CMDR competition running until the 22nd October. As far the CMDR's are on the lead. 2. Squadron AWOL check will begin next week. 1. SA Astatine is running two competitions: - Design a web mail skin for the email software I'm running - http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1507 - Design a logo or banner for the web hosting service I will be offering to EH members - http://www.emperorshammer.net/competitions/details.asp?ID=1508 Entries close with the end of October. 2. FA Ender mBind Craft Essay Competition Start Date: 10/1/2004 End Date: 11/1/2004 Parties Involved: All Emperor's Hammer Members except for the SCO Medals to be Awarded: 1st IS-GR, 2nd IS-SR, 3rd IS-BR or equalivalent SG medal. Write an essay about your favorite Star Wars ship: Why was it designed? What are its main uses? Its History? Its strengths and shortcomings? Essays need to be from "inside" the Star Wars universe, and from an Emperor's Hammer point of view is encouraged (but not required). DO research on your craft of choice, your essay cannot conflict with official sources. If you use sources, list these at the end. (This means a fairly unknown or EH craft gives you more freedom then one that is well documented.. but also that you will need use your own logic and imagination more.) Essays can be any length, if you want to write about the entire history of the "Millenium Falcon" you're free to do so, but a short but effective story about the TUG has just as much chance to win. Essays need to be in .txt, .rtf, .html or .doc format and zipped. Send your submission to sco@emperorshammer.org with "Craft Essay Competition" as subject. The best entries may be included in the the Fleet Manual, a seperate additional ISM (or equalivalent) will be rewarded for those. 3. I need the one from the Expansion not just the original one. So the best three graphics that show the FULL tattoo that you recieve for going through the Emperor's Secret Order, will receive the IS-GR, IS-SR, IS-BR resepctivly.
