In any case, welcome to my first Viper CMDR report. It has a good amount of features designed to perk your interest while informing and entertaining you at the same time. Hmm, guess that also covers the opening remarks part.

SQUADRON NEWS:
· As you are all aware of, I’m the new CMDR. Congrats to me then :P
· Also, COL BubbaX has transferred to Python Squadron with COL Frodo on the Van. Good luck to him there.
· I have already sent out a contact e-mail to you. By the time you get this, I should have seen that you’ve reported in.
· The Viper mail-ring is up. Check the Comm section of this report for the URL.
I have sent out invites to you all. Three of us are now signed up for it, the rest of you would benefit to do the same.
· We have a comp running. The Comp is Viper Pilot of the Week. Details in the Ready Room section of the report.
· In the future, I might be seeking out one of you who can make a squadron homepage. This will be in a comp format . That is down the road though, so don’t get your knickers in a twist over it just yet.

ALERT:
· Imperial Storm has begun:
The big war-game is on but apparently a lot of people still don't know what they have to do. First off, go to the War Officer homepage and read the IS manual. Remember that pilots and CMDRs don't have to know ALL rules but only those related with scores and combat engagements. Second off, you may participate in single player combat, multiplayer combat or both and you don't have to participate in every round in order to qualify. However if we will get more MP pilots than needed (thing I rather doubt about...) we will use pilots rotation in order to allow everyone to play. Also, multiplayer combat will be XWA only whereas single player section will be TIE, XvT and XWA.

-COMMANDER’S OFFICE-
I wont be chewing any of you out for lack of activity this week, as I just came in and BubbaX just left. EL Guapo has kept himself busy though. I already submitted the Viper Pilot of the Week Comp, which got approved. I am aware that since the summer has ended, most of you will be going back to school/work. This I can understand. All I ask is that you report in before Friday and try to do something during the week for activity. I know that everyone here likes those metal thingies with the pretty, different colored cloth, and those square thingies with smaller, different colored squares on them. As CMDR, I’d like nothing more then to give them away and recommend the ones I can’t give to my higher ups to give to you.
Seems that Lan and Devalis are nowhere to be seen, or haven’t been in a while anyways. Shame. So, for you other three active guys, this means recruit from RL, Daedalus, RSV’s. Remember, recruitment=rewards and very good graces from all our superiors in the ASF. Do it for the Squad! Do it for the Wing! Do it for the Intrepid!
