STRYKER'S STORY
    Major Stryker checked his approach vectors as he steered the Stryker's Vengeance on its final course back to the Vanguard.  He had just spent an entire week undergoing intensive studies at the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School, and was looking forward to getting some intense combat action in the final week of the Top Dog offensive.
    When he landed, half the pilots of the Vanguard were waiting to greet him, headed off by the Commodore Drax Remlinger and Wing Commander Justin.  "Major Stryker," said the Rear Admiral, "you are hereby stripped of the rank of Major."
    Jer stopped breathing for a few seconds, wondering if his superior had finally discovered his secret stash of contraband Cadbury Eggs.
    "Congratulations Jer," said Justin, "you have been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel."
    Drax smiled at Jer and said "I told you....you da man."
    The newly-promoted Lieutenant Colonel smiled back, then headed to the ready room with his pilots for their weekly briefing.

COMMANDER'S BRIEFING

• Top Dog is almost over!  Only 4 days left!!  Also, we have managed to claw our way up to SECOND place, but we are barely hanging on to it (as of when I'm writing this).  This is the last briefing I will be giving before Top Dog is over, so I'm going to say this one last time:  Let's get a move on!  If you want a refresher on how many points each activity is worth, check out this page.  Also, here is the scoreboard.

• Due to a recent change in Tie Corps policy, Sickman has been reinstated to his former rank of General.  Congratulations!

• Also, I have just been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel due to my dedication in nagging people to fly and to make pretty WSRs.  Yay!
  

• For some reason, the muses didn't visit noWedge this week so the run-on is still open.  Don't forget, fiction counts for Top Dog!

• Until Captain Optimus finishes the completely redesigned Hornet website he is working on, I have completely redone the visuals and enhanced some of the sections of the current site.  Now it matches with the rest of our new color scheme and logo improvements.
