Yet another quiet week, but as Alex Foley said in his report today, Spring is the season for inactivity, and we're never inactive for long! :) We've got plenty on in the next couple of weeks, with SSL Round 3, defending our WC's Own title for April and various other competitions on their way. Another thing, in case you haven't noticed, this is my 45th report as CMDR....only 5 to go and then we'll be having a 50th anniversary comp! I'm also looking into a few activity comps for the squadron, not all centered around flying either. ;)

General News;

 - SA Astatine is after more submissions for upcoming Newsletters. If you have some GFX/fiction etc, send it to Ast, and dont forget to CC me with it!
 - The COO is still on the hunt for competition hosts, for when #EHCOC gets X access back and begins to run set competitions again. If your interested in becoming a MP Competition host(scorer), let AD Sarin know. Try and specify a time you can do it also and have a look on the Combat Centre on the TC site to find a specific comp at the time(s) you could host.
 - The TO's Office this week announced that TOA Darksaber is now a special liason for anyone interested in creating comps and need/want help to organise and perhaps run them. It's mainly geared towards, but not exclusive to Flags and CMDRs, after all we provide the majority of comps, but if you have an idea give DS a yell at darksaber@minos.net.
 - Wing IX aboard the ISD Relentless is now after Wing Commander. Well...as of last Sunday anyway. I do believe the position is filled or close to being filled now though, so keep an eye out next report and on the TC news page for announcement soon!
 - As we all should have heard by now, our very own Colonel Gidda was promoted to the esteemed rank of General this week. Congrats Gidda! Btw......he should be back any day now!!
 - While on the subject of WC's....there is also a new IWATS Course available now geared for people who are WC's or for members who are looking to become one in the future. People who are bored or want to do an IWATS can still complete it too though ;) Anyway, the Wing Management course can now be found at http://to.minos.net/wm.
 - For all those having problems with EHBL, help is now at hand, with CA:IO Robert Dura creating a bug tracker. If you are having a problem, I'm always a possible source of help, but if you cant find me or you dont want to talk to me - go here: http://ortho.minos.net/.

 - Well, seeing as no comp was held this month, we've held onto WC's Own again for March....yay us. Now...where's the competition for April Frodo? ;)
 - Not a whole lot going on atm in the squad, but following his outstanding job to finish 2nd and help the EH finish 2nd in XvT WoW, our very own LCM Predator has slapped down all opposition in the XWA WoW. EH has finished 2nd again, with Pred finishing 3rd Overall!!! He's also finished 1st in the EH/ASF. How'd he go? How about 60 wins from 81 games, which will earn him 120 LoC's with the current COO x2 LoC's promotion on at the moment. Congrats again Pred, well done!!!
 - Round 2 of SSL has just about finished now, with about 1hr to go as I write this WSR. Again this round I've only received an XWA file from Pred, to go along with my XWA and XvT Files. Now I know some of you are busy and stuff, and Sav is currently wrestling with his comp to allow him to play XvT/XWA, but I'm sure a few more of you can fly. If we can submit say, 3-4 files for XvT and the same for XWA for the remainder of the rounds....we will be in a very strong position come competition end. Currently going into Round 2, we are in 3rd place for XWA and despite Round 1 of XvT not counting, we were 6th there. If Sav can get his comp to play fair, between Pred, Sav and myself thats a file for XvT and XWA each, I know Cutter has the ability to fly for XvT, and Aresis, you should be able to fly for both now right? Thats 3 files for each division which will greatly improve and strengthen our current standings. So lets see some more files next round. ;)
