Krayt Squadron - Weekly Squadron Report
Aboard the ASF Flagship -- ISD-II Intrepid

Time for another report already....sheesh time goes fast! Anyway, it's been another quiet week in the cooling off period the ASF is having after the finish of the 6th Supremacy Competition. There are still a few things going on around the ASF and in the other BG's though, so read up on this weeks news and events. Oh, and dont forget to enjoy your weekend and perhaps make a start on submissions for certain competition? ;)

General News;

 - SA Astatine is after more submissions for upcoming Newsletters. If you have some GFX/fiction etc, send it to Ast, and dont forget to CC me with it!
 - Another ATF flag position is now filled! Congrats to former Vampire Squadron CMDR, MAJ Kane Reese (who also made the Krayt Squadron banner) on his promotion to Wing XIX Wing Commander.
 - Always wanted to make up a story about one of the CS and sell it to the papers? Well now you can....except for the selling to the papers of course! The Flight Office announced a new competition last Saturday....to write up an INPR for FA Cyric. The Comp finishes on the 16th, so if your idling on IRC and are looking for something to do, why not write one up and send it in to Cyric!
 - Even though I doubt many people knew CA:LO was open (I didn't).....it was filled on the weekend. Congrats to Admiral Zsinj on his promotion to CA:LO and his subsequent return to the Logistics Office!
 - Congrats to Wing XX on it's win in the ATF's BGCOM's Judgement competition for February.
 - Another HUGE congratulations goes out to Vice Admiral Khameir Sarin on his promotion to Admiral!
 - Due to Real Life stuff (aint it always? :() CA:IO FA Bevel Leeson has had to step down. Sooooo.....Ari is looking for a replacement Attache. More details on the TC news page for anyone interested.
 - The TAC's last competition, FCHG #5 is coming to an end this weekend. This will hopefully mean a few sorely needed new XWA battles....keep an eye out!
 - The TAC Office also had something to surprise us with this week, with a new addition to the XvT Compendium...an XvT: Imperial Senate battle. Now, I haven't flown it myself yet, but I encourage others too....might be interesting to fly one of those Senate hoverpads....and maybe you might get to shoot down ET. :P </Episode1flashback>
 - And one last bit of news....the COO just wants to remind us all that we can still fly for 24/7 LoC's in #EHCOC. Games can be organised IP to IP in IRC, and then scores can be reported on the COO Website @ http://combat.tiecorps.net.

 - Again, not much going on in the squadron as we all recover and enjoy a bit of time off after Supremacy Comp 6. However two little surprises did land in my inbox today, in the form of promotions!!! Firstly, congrats to LT Predator on his promotion to Lieutenant Commander! Secondly, everyone give it up for your CMDR for his promotion to Lieutenant Colonel!!! You can all call me Lt. Colonel CrimsonFury.....fits nicely dont it? ;)
 - Other than that though, the only other thing of real mention this week is a reminder about the Sovereign Squadron League Competition. The first 'regular season' round started last week, and finishes this Friday, the 19th of March at midnight US-EST. This missions for this round are: XvT-Free 143 - "Folly: The Fabulous Star Wars Trivia Test", XWA-Free 107 - "System Cleanup" and TIE-Free 246 - " Garrison Duty". You've got plenty of time to fly them all if you like, but if you can only fly one or two, concentrate on XvT and XWA, as they are our two major platforms. Last year Krayt finished a modest 12th Overall in XWA, and 13th (I think) in XvT...pushing up to 9th in XWA after the final 'playoff' rounds. So, understandibly I'd like us to put in an effort to finish as well, if not better this time around! Please have all your submissions to be by Thursday night/Friday morning so I can zip the squadron's submissions and send them to their respective division coordinators. Good Luck!
