Major Airyu lay silent in his bed. It wasn't really his choice. Rather, the pilots' quarters had been retrofitted with some sort of muting device, and it wasn't very pleasant. "Mmph." (They must've added this when I was on the Phoenix...)
Another "mmph" came from his terminal on the other side of the room. Daisuke got up and consulted the stubble on his chin. He pushed the display button, and the terminal began reading back his message to him.
"Mmmph mmph mmph mmph." (Congratulations on your selection as commander of Echo Squadron. Your request for the import of... penguins... has been approved, Major. The keys to your office will arrive shortly.)
The keys did arrive shortly, at a very high speed, into the back of his head. "Mmph!"
It was 3 in the morning when Daisuke first ventured into his new office, and he found exactly what he expected...
That nobody likes long, drawn-out fiction at the beginning of their squadron reports!!! The realization came over him like a wave, and he hung his head in shame, and got on with the rest of the report.
Seriously. I am honored to be your new commander, and will not fail you. However, I plan on changing the colors and such in the reports once I have a little more time to prepare a standardized format.

TOP DOG COMPETITION TO START - Everyone should've gotten the email from the COM the other day outlining the rules and regulations of this competition, which starts on Sunday morning... in some time zone or another. If you were around for the ASF Supremacy Comp, this is basically the same thing, except we don't have to worry about those overachievers on the Grey Mutt.
BEAT THE WC COMPETITION ALMOST OVER - It's a one week extravaganza to smack the "new" Wing Commander with a belt! Er... oh. The deadline is TOMORROW, so if you haven't flown it, do so now! The mission is XWA-FREE 61. Sadly, since my computer refuses to recognize my XWA cd, I can't fly it... why can't I ever just have a CMDRship where I'm not experiencing technical difficulties?!?!

Ok, here's the big part... or rather, should be the big part.
CHANGE OF COMMAND - With the resignation of CPT Ulath due to RL issues, I have been appointed as the new CMDR. I run a tight squadron *snicker* and don't tolerate *chuckle* any nonsense from my pilots... BWAAA AHAHAHAH!!! Really. I'm a nice guy, despite any bitter/sarcastic/homicidal tones you might pick up in my reports. I'll be increasing my Message Board presence, and possibly venture into mIRC again. I'm basically always on AIM under my screen name "KuronekoSama42", and will talk to you. If I'm there. Good luck Ulath, beat that cholera soon!
