Ginji: I don't know, I heard he's up to no good again. Whatever *grabs a plate of nachos*
Paco: Yeah, he's missing out on some good food! *grabs a handful of mini pizzas*
Serovich: Bah, he's missing out on the beer!
O'Deevs: But... I sort of doubt he'd pass up the chance for cheap beer. *looks around* Has anyone seen Death Squire either?
Airyu: Okay. Just keep wrapping the copper wire around the cylinder, I'll check how the cannon is charging up.
Death Squire: Right *wrap wrap wrap wrap* Is it supposed to make a weird humming noise?
Airyu: Yeah, I don't see why not.
Everyone in cantina: HEeeey!! It's Zach!
Zach: Hey guys! Okay, who's buying me my beer.
Bartender: Sorry, no service to bums who don't fly or report in!
Zach: Awww...
Airyu: Power... on. Standby to engage firing mechanism.
Death Squire: Check. I'll get out of the way. I'd suggest aiming it out of the docking bay.
Airyu: Why, the walls in here are thick! FIRE!!! *click*
With the sound of a hundred big-screen TV's powering on, the electromagnets engage. A small chunk of metal, likely a former beer can, is uniformly accelerated to blinding speeds, and bursts from the firing tube. It proceeds to rip through several decks of hull plating, before finally bursting out through RA Drax's ready room.
Serovich: What the hell was that?!? It came from the... docking bay?
Bartender: Sensor scans indicate it was a can of Bud Light sold here approximately two weeks ago, to MAJ Daisuke-
Serovich: Airyu!?!??!
Drax: Why is there a hole in my ready room? *checks his watch* Friday.... and it even smells like something of Airyu's. Send a squadron of stormtroopers immediately.
MORAL: This is why they don't allow high-powered weaponry in the bar. I'll keep that in mind. And for now, off to happy hour.

BGCOM's LEGATE - This is... something. Basically, do lots of stuff :) It's a reward for the most active pilots in the battlegroup, and a hell of an honor.
THE AGGRESSOR - Khadgar wants to do some thing... it's a publication of ASF-type stuff :) so make graphics and fiction that can eventually go in it. I guess all our SW:CCG cards are going in...
VANGUARD IRONMAN - Just a standard monthly FCHG race. Whoever gains the most gets an IS-SW, runner-up gets an IS-BW
VANGUARD BARON - A Combat Rating race. Whoever gains the most CR points gets an IS-SW, runner-up gets an IS-BW
VANGUARD RECRUITMENT DRIVE - Whoever brings in the most pilots gets an IS-SR, runner-up gets IS-BR
JUSTIN'S COMPETITION - Fly XWA-FREE 64, "Echo Squadron". Highest score gets to represent us in the second round. DUE ASAP.
VANGUARD CCG EXPANSION PACK- Everyone saw what a wonderful job I do creating SW:CCG cards, but I'm all burned out! Now it's your turn. This is a wing-wide competition of my creation... Make as many entries as you like, and send them to me (CC Justin too). The best gets an IS-SR, and the runner-up gets an IS-BR. Fun fun! This runs until a little bit into September, cause Justin never sent out an email. Schmuck :P
ECHO NEW BANNER COMPETITION - Our banner on the TC database is a little bit old and ghettoed. I'm not a big fan of it, because it looks like it was just ripped from the opening cutscene of TIE Fighter. Plus, it's not really a banner. So you guys are to make a new one for me. Make it pretty, make it cool, make it something you'd write your mom about. The best one, if it's better than the old one, wins. It goes up on the EHTC.org database, and the creator gets an IS-BR.
