I'MMMMM BAAAAACCCKKKK!!!! Yup, back for a few days again anyway. I'll be on another leave of absence as of Monday, but I will have some internet access this time. I'm leaving Sav in charge, so dont forget to send everything to him...and to me also. I will hopefully be able to check my mail every few days...so I wont miss out on too much. Still sucks being away all the time though :( Good luck to everyone in their flying for SSL and anything else you do in this next week, cya all soon!

General News;

 - In case you hadn't noticed last week, the TC site is back up! Check out http://www.ehtiecorps.org/news.asp. Unfortunately, the only problem is that the last database save was back in January....so everything is in a timewarp. However, the FO's office has been working hard and all positions and ranks should now be correct. The XO is working with the TAC, COO, TO and OPS offices to get FCHG/HS's, LoC's, IWATS and medals all updated as soon as they can. So never fear, our CS is on the case!
 - While I'm mentioning the CS and the COO, congrats to COO Admiral Sarin on his becoming Cyric's 2nd CA:FO! Don't worry, he's staying as the COO aswell, and he is dealing with transfers and roster changes in general in his new role as CA:FO.
 - Noone in this squadron has a pin that exceeds 11300....but if you know of someone who does, point them to the TC news page and/or FA Cyric's new report so they can follow the procedure to rejoining so they can be reapplied properly to the database.
 - XvT WoW March started last weekend, and is now clearing final disputes. What is quite disappointing from the ASF's point of view is that the only person who flew(and flew at all) is our BGCOM, VA Khadgar! Good effort to at least get a few games in Khad, shame you had noone else around to help out.
 - In what must be quite a shock to most (definitely to me), our long serving Training Officer, Fleet Admiral Keldorn has retired as TO and Dean of the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School. He's not leaving totally though, so we'll still see him around no doubt.

 - First order of business is the few roster changes that have occured. Firstly, congratulations to Predator on his promotion to Commander and on his position of Diamondback Squadron CMDR!!!! Like I've already said, I'm sure he'll do a great job as CMDR, as he has done as an FL and A-CMDR in Krayt. Best of luck Pred!
 - I've also kicked a few 'bums' from our roster. As I mentioned on the website news page, I've given Squall and Dark Mike more than fair chance on becoming active and my patience and leniency do have a limit....and hence they now populate the M/FRG Phoenix. However, we had someone who stowed away on the shuttle on it's way home and ended up in Krayt! A warm welcome to former Avenger Elite Squadron CMDR and all round great guy/legend, General Dax Corrin! He's now settling into his new ship, Missile Boat "Krayt 4", which hopefully he can find a better name for. ;) Everybody buy him a beer and listen to a war story or two when you see him in the cantina!
 - Don't forget that SSL Round 6 is on now!!! The Round 6 files are: XvT Free 161 - "Retrieve Stolen Cargo" and XWA Free 103 - "Diamondback Squadron #1: Rebel Listening Outpost". I have attached the files to this email again and I have also uploaded them to our website. To get them online simply download them from http://www.minos.net/~krayt/XvTF161.ehm or http://www.minos.net/~krayt/XWAF103.ehm. This round finishes at midnight US-EST Friday, the 4th of June. This means you have a week left to fly and submit your files. Like I said last week and have reiterated on the boards and the website, Krayt currently sits in 3rd in both XWA and XvT divisions. We have a reasonable margin in XWA, but XvT is much tighter. I'd very much like to see 3/4 files for each division this round, to ensure that we finish both the round and regular season strongly and maintain our current 3rd placings!
    As I will be away yet again this week, please ensure that you either send your files to CPT SavageAz (SAvageAz@ehnet.org) directly, who will then send them on to the division co-ordinators, or send them directly to the co-ords. If you send them direct, make sure you cc Sav (with the file attached) so that he can keep track of who has submitted what for my records. The XvT Co-ordinator is MAJ Kayle Bayron (kai.boecher@sbg.at) and the XWA Co-ordinator is MAJ Artyis (artyis@cdaction.pl). Lets fly our asses off and cement our positions guys!!!
 - After the 'extended time' that Frodo afforded to participate in his 'Beat the COM' Competition, it has now finished. Congrats to the following people who beat his Round 3 score: LT El Guapo, LC Justin, MAJ Zhaim Jiffar, LT S 4patas and myself. There were three (contrary to Frodo's report....he forgot 4patas) overall winners who beat/whupped Frodo in all 3 rounds, and they were: LC Justin, LT S 4patas and myself. So in the end Krayt has ended up with about 8 IS-BW's and 2 IS-SW's thanks to our short little COM! *pats Frodo on the head* Congrats to the winners!
 - My final note this week is that as mentioned above I will be away, yet again, this week :( I'm leaving monday morning and should be back here in a week or so....or so I hope. I will have limited internet access, so I will check my email every few days, but I'm again leaving CPT SavageAz in his role as A-CMDR. EVERYTHING activity wise is to be sent to him (except BSF's, which go to Gidda, but cc me and Sav). Your quite welcome to send stuff to me, but make sure you cc Sav in case it bounces from my email account.
