Ok, quiet week for one and all this week. Hopefully SSL Round 5 stats will come out soon so we can see where we're at coming into the final 'regular season' round. More details on Round 6 later in the report. I've managed to catch up with everything I missed while being away and all my activity records should be up to date. General News;

 - Ok....first order of newsworthiness is that the TC site is back up! Check out http://www.ehtiecorps.org/news.asp. Unfortunately, the only problem is that the last database save was back in January....so everything is in a timewarp. However, XO Astatine is working with all the CS and the BGCOM's to get everything fully back up to date.....hopefully by next weekend we'll be looking at our accurate profiles again!
 - With the site coming back up, Ast has a survey that you can fill out about the speed of the site, simply by logging into the website. He has also set up a thread on the messageboards to voice any problems people have with it. This thread can be found at http://www.ehnet.org/mb/viewtopic.php?t=2280.
 - After the retirement of it's previous WC Major Trido last week, due to him being promoted to PREX of the Corporate Division, ISD Relentless COM VA Bubba has found a replacement. Congrats to funnily enough, former PREX Major Thorin Oakenshield on his promotion to Wing IX WC!
 - Congrats also to RA Xander Drax, who has recently returned from RSV and been immediately promoted to Commodore of the ISD-II Vanguard. Congrats Daxxy and good luck!

 - Before I get into any serious Squadron business, I'd like to mention that Krayt Squadron's website earned Site of the Week from IO, AD Robert Dura today! Yay us! I've also updated the website today, including a complete rework of the roster page...so go and check it out and let me know if you like the changes or not. If I have given your craft the wrong name (comes up when cursor is over starfighter image), or you'd like to add/change it let me know! Now onto serious business...
 - Ok, well unfortunately again....I'm going to be going away for a few days for work. I will be back on Friday (*Fingers crossed*) and I'll catch up with you all then. Unfortunately, after I return I will have to leave again....but I will hopefully have internet access this time! In another unfortunate event, this also signals 'the end of an era' in Krayt, as early next month I will be forced to retire from my position of Krayt CMDR, a position I will have held for the past 12 months. I will remain in Krayt as an FM, and as such will save all the hard to write retirement and thank you type stuff until I do, but you all know I appreciate you and what you do for this squadron, our wing and the ISD-II Intrepid. :) Keep it up while I'm away!
 - SSL Round 6 started yesterday, with most (well...all) CMDR's receiving the necessary files. The Round 6 files are: XvT Free 161 - "Retrieve Stolen Cargo" and XWA Free 103 - "Diamondback Squadron #1: Rebel Listening Outpost". I have attached the files to this email and as a precaution (and for anyone else) I have also uploaded them to our website. To get them online simply download them from http://www.minos.net/~krayt/XvTF161.ehm or http://www.minos.net/~krayt/XWAF103.ehm. If you remember correctly, I used this particular XWA Free for a competition once...so noone with XWA should not be able to submit a file this round. Round 6 finishes at midnight US-EST Friday, the 4th of June. This means you have exactly 2 weeks to get your files in, and this is also the final 'regular season' round for SSL 2004. Currently, Krayt is placed 3rd in both XWA and XvT....so lets get in as many files as we can for both divisions, to ensure we remain in 3rd!
    Last year, there were 8 'regular season' rounds, and the top 8 squadrons went through to the 'playoffs'. This year it is 6 regular season rounds, and I believe that the top 6 squadrons go through to the playoffs. Last year the top 4 squadron's received 5% bonuses on their total score for the first round of the playoffs, so thats even more incentive to fly well and remain in the top 3.....it will help us through the 1st round of the playoffs! So lets blitz the last round of SSL, I'd like to see at least 4 submissions for both XvT and XWA....which will definitely give us a great boost! Good luck all!
 - Frodo also issued a reprieve last weekend, with Round 3 of Beat the COM being extended until this Sunday midnight, so if you have yet to fly XvT Free 93, fly it this weekend and beat Frodo's 61,700pt score to earn yourself an IS-BW! I've also uploaded this file to the site, get it at http://www.minos.net/~krayt/XvTF93.ehm.
 - In regards to the competitions I promised last week...well I've held off on them for another week or so. I decided that I would set a few 'anniversary' competitions next week once the database was back to celebrate my 12mths as CMDR. As long as there is no more database problems while I'm gone, I will organise a few competitions next weekend when I return from leave.
 - On my final note for this report, due to my leave as of tomorrow and no contact from LCM Predator (on uni break), I'm placing CPT SavageAz in charge of the squadron. If you have any BSF's please forward them on to Gidda for BSFing, but dont forget to cc Sav so he can catch me up on whats been going on while I've been away, upon my return.
