Welcome to report 48/49! One to go to the big 5-0!! ;) Well....I've been back for 2 days now, and between what I've been trying to organise in RL, and catching up on EH stuff..I can honestly say I've gotten almost nowhere. I really hate being away! :( However, it must be done once again, for another week or so. Then I'll be back for good! :) Enjoy the report guys and girls(?), I'm already missing you in preparation for another week away...dont miss me too much! I leave you in the more than capable hands of Predator and the flags, so if you need anything, give them a hoy. Cya's in a week!
 
 
 
General News;

 - Well, the weekend before I left (16th) we had two BIG resignations, which by now I'm sure you've heard about. We lost our very great and long serving IO, HA Ari, and also the elite Praetorian Squadron CMDR, General Andrzej "Iceman" Mezynski. They haven't actually left though, as Ari has stayed on as an IO Assistant and Ice has become Wing XVIII Wing Commander. Congrats to both and good luck.
 - SCO Ender mBind updated lots of his XWA patches last week, so if you have any of the following patches, it's time to update! The updated patches are: MC-90, TIE Praetor, TIE Guardian, Sovereign, DGN, I-7 Howlrunner, TIE Dragon, TIE Vanguard, ESSD mk.I, ESSD mk.II, Astatine Tug and Phalanx Gunboat.
 - Well....when you go away, the flags will play. Congrats go out to Frodo's counter part on the Grey Wolf, Gilad Pelleaeon on his promotion to Vice Admiral!!! Congrats to Gilly, he deserves it after all his recent hard work, especially knocking us out of our position of ASF Flagship in SC VI and his records keeping during the comp.
 - In another piece of exciting news, OPS Alex Foley announced this week that from now on we will have more 'leeway' in the creation of uniforms. Early on in my time as Krayt CMDR I toyed with a deep red/maroon type colour for our uniforms, possibly with a gold sash, but due to the hard line of the OPS back then I didn't even try and get it approved. Now I may just see if we can (and you guys like it) change the squads uniforms to stand out that bit more. I might even make a comp for it! ;)
 - After the retirement of GN Mezynski as Praetorian CMDR, apps were opened for a new CMDR. Congrats to CPT Gelton Torr, who was XO of the squadron under GN Mezynski, on his well deserved promotion to CMDR. Congrats Gelton!
 - After a heartfelt plea from the COO for us to beat BOSS, EH come out to play in the recent XvT WoW, however we still did not manage to beat BOSS out of top spot. We did finish 2nd though, which is no mean feat, with our very own LCM Predator kicking some major ass, finishing 2nd in EH/1st in ASF, and 6th Overall!!! We also saw great efforts from CPT Tek Selkirk (1st & 7th Overall) and LCM Rax (3rd & 10th Overall) from Tau Squadron! We'll get you next time BOSS!
 - Following XvT WoW, XWA WoW April is now on. Not much happening on EH's side tho unfortunately, with a rather mediocre showing. It finishes this weekend though, so there is still time for you to play if you wish.
 - After opening apps for Wing XV WC last week due to Nightmare being promoted to Avenger CMDR, a new WC was chosen on Tuesday. Congrats to recently re-activated MAJ Praetorian, former Python CMDR, on his promotion to Wing Commander! Good luck Wing XV :P
 - There was also something in the news from ISP/HA Priyum Patel, in regards to if people had old recommendations for Grand Order of the Empire, Order of the Renegade, Imperial Cross and Medal of Honour medals. Not really relevant to us though, as we are all relative babies and aint been here long enough for the times he wants the from. :)

 - Well, as last week, I'll be away for another week as of about midnight Thursday US-EST. I'm hoping to be back by Thursday of next week, but we'll have to wait and see I guess. Depends how we go out on site. As before, please send any zipped pilot files to Gidda for BSFing, and I will gather the approvals upon my return. If you do have something else you absolutely cannot go without sending me, please send it to my private email - lcheese@emerge.net.au, as it does not have a size limit. *Note to Frodo/Gidda/Khad*: Please send your weekend round of reports to my private email so they do not bounce from my hotmail account due to their size. Thanks!
 - Now, onto business. SSL Round 4 finishes this weekend, and I will be forwarding what I have tonight to the division co-ordinators. What I currently have is XvT and XWA submissions from myself and Pred and an XvT submission from 4patas. If anyone reflies a mission or flies it for the first time and is not listed here....please send it directly to the division co-ordinators. They are, TIE: COL Todbringer - todbringer@poczta.onet.pl, XvT: MAJ Kayle Bayron - kai.boecher@sbg.at and XWA: MAJ Artyis - artyis@cdaction.pl. Also cc Predator so he can keep a record for me.
 - Which reminds me, seeing Sav is away, I'm placing the squadron in the hands of LCM Predator as Acting CMDR. So if you have any questions or need to check details on anything, Pred should be your first stop! While I'm on the topic of the man, congrats to him on his 3rd Bronze Star of the Empire for March MSE!
 - As mentioned in the General News section, Pred kicked some serious ass this XvT WoW, placing 1st in ASF and 6th Overall. He also earned a cool 100 LoC's (50 wins) from 54 games, and took home 2 DFC's! Yet another IS-GW will be on it's way for his 1st in ASF finish. Congrats again Predator! It's also been good to see that a few months leave and a busy home life has not diminished 4patas' activity with him submitting 6 battles and a few free missions in the last 2 weeks! Good to have you back as always 4patas! :)
 - Last piece of squadron news is more of a reminder, dont forget to fly XvT-Free 90 for Round 2 of the 'Beat the COM' Competition. Frodo's score to beat is 30,980pts. Beat that and then send your file to Gidda for BSFing and you will earn yourself an IS-BW!!!
