Krayt Squadron - Weekly Squadron Report
Aboard the ASF Flagship -- ISD-II Intrepid

Welcome one and all to my 39th report as Krayt CMDR!! It's been another mixed week for the squadron this week, as we've continued on our merry way in SC VI, but it's still the same people flying. Noone new has joined in despite how easy and un-time consuming a single battle or IWATS can be. Nevertheless activity has remained high in the Squad and we are still looking down the barrel of a 3rd Squadron placing overall, and well and truely should stay in first place within Wing XIV. But it aint over yet! I'm still hoping I see a few more people complete some form of activity in the final week of the comp. We also finally got through a large batch of medals, 14 to be exact...so read on and celebrate! :)

General News;

 - The SCO and Ast have gone through and replaced all the old and rather mixed fighter images with new ones from XWA. Check out your profiles and you'll notice our MIS, GUNs and T/D's all look a bit different.
 - After the sudden retirement of BGCOM AD Darksaber the position of BGCOM was open this week. However apps were sent in and Cyric looked at them and decided COL Khadgar was the best man for the job. So congrats to our new BGCOM, and now Vice Admiral, VA Khadgar.
 - Another big promotion this week was the promotion to General of Avenger Elite Squadron CMDR, Dax Corrin. He's also stepped over the much lauded line of 3000 FCHG, currently sitting on about 3060 FCHG. Congrats Dax!
 - This month's XvT WoW has also begun. Get out there and fly if you can!
 - The COO has also finally started the use of XWA Skirmish missions in EHCOC. They are basically small battles, made to be played against a mix of human and AI opponents, and through EHCOC LoC's are awarded for wins. For more info hop onto IRC and join #ehcoc, or alternatively try and catch me in IRC(#wingxiv) or by email as Sarin has sent me a couple of the skirmishes. :)
 - A few other flag positions were filled this week, with COL Locke Setzer being chosen for Wing VIII WC aboard the ISD Colossus, COL Gunman being appointed the new ISD Immortal/Wing IX Wing Commander and LC Daniel Goad being appointed as new ISD Vanguard Commodore! Congrats to all and wish them good luck in their new positions.
 - TAC Mike also announced this week that XvT Free's 120 through 148, which have not worked under EHBL for a while now, have been fixed and can now be flown with EHBL for FCHG points! :)
 - It aint over yet in regards to open Flag positions....now Wing XIX WC is open for apps. Details on the TC news page.
 - FO Cyric has announced he is on leave for this next week, returning on the 28th. If there is anything urgent, VA Reaper will be around to look after all he can, so contact him.
 - A new IWATS Course was announced today, IWATS Trillian. Take it at http://to.minos.net/trillian/ and earn points for SC VI today!

 - FINALLY! Our medals have come through! Was great to get on after work yesterday and see my mailbox flooded with 14 medal emails! :) The 14 medals were split between 3 people, for a mix of 3 different comps and here is a who got what;

 Congrats to all recipients. Hopefully there'll be some more great medals coming our way after SC VI! :)
 - Like the last 2 weeks, it was the same people flying this week again for SC VI. Was good to see LT Sly fly some, but I'm still a little disappointed that there are a few of you that are quite capable of flying (as far as I know), but who have not shown any activity for the month or SC VI. This is the last time that I will mention it, but I would really like to see a few more people fly in this, the final week of SC VI.
 - As there has been little activity, I have only received one submission from LT Predator, for the current Fiction comp I have running. This finishes next Sunday at midnight, the same time that SC VI does. Ditto to above, that I would like to see a few more submissions for this.
