News

Im back from my semi-leave and the backlog of all the things left over is cleared.

Im disapointed that i have only recieved word from one of you. This is not a good situation for the squad to be in, especially with Top Dog coming up. I want you all, especially the FLs to report in. If the FLs dont report in by next report i will be looking to replace them.

There are also some larger competitions ongoing. You can see details of them below as well.

Im going to start work on a squadron website soon, if anyone has anything that might aid me in this endevour (like a complete working website for example) then please forward them to me.

Competitions


Ive begun 3 competitions to run till the end of the month. First is a recruitment competition, so go through the reserves and trainees to see if you can bring some people in. Most recruits wins the IS-BR.

Next we have 2 comps to celebrate my becoming CMDR. First off a flying competition, so go out and fly XWA-TC 38 and pop it along to me. Highest score wins the IS-BW. Next is a trivia competition. Answer the 10 questions below and send them to me. If there is a tie at the end of the month there will be further questions until a winner is found.

And finally -

This year's Summer Patrol begins today and is open to the fleet! What's the Summer Patrol? Well, like last year's patrol (which was a Sovereign only competition) it consists of a weekly patrol of missions and battles to choose from that lasts 8 weeks long. Pilots are free to sign up by flying a battle or set of missions and submitting them to the moderators.
Sounds easy, right? Last year we saw a large group of pilots participate in this patrol but only a handful survived on the last week. Those who do not submit their pilot files for a week are automatically dropped out and the patrol continues on without them.

Those who do survive this patrol of weekly flying are awarded the Iron-Star Gold Wing.

This week's patrol starts off fairly easy. Your objective is to fly one of any of the 15 battles below. Each of these battles is four missions long. Next week may be a little more demanding.
