• Welcome to June, Hornet!  Overall I am very pleased with how well you have done since I took command just over a month ago.  We have some very active and enthusiastic pilots with us, and I can't wait to see what we pull off this month!

• As I said a month ago, most of the squadron is now up for rank promotion.  Unfortunately, not many of you flew very much, so there won't be promotions galore as I had hoped, but we may see one or two.

• Missing battles have been added to everyone's profiles.  I was not able to account for all of them, so if you see any that are missing, let me know.  Missing LoC's have been submitted.  As far as medals and IWATS go, I'm still waiting for word on those.

• LT Carcharoth and myself participated in our first Week of War this week.  It was quite a lot of fun, and the people we played against were very helpful in showing us how it all works.  Despite this, we didn't fare too well.  :P  It would have been nice to see some more of you participating, especially our multiplayer veterans.  Perhaps next month?

• I'm lowering the goal on the "first to gain 10 LoC's competition" to 5 LoC's, since so many in the squadron are new to multiplayer.  5 LoC's will still be a challenge, though it is perfectly achievable, even for a "newbie."  As far as the "first to fly 10 battles" competition goes, the most I have from anybody so far is 3, so everyone is pretty much still in the running.  I'm not going any lower on this.  May was a great month for us all to get acquainted and get back into things, but for June I expect to see some serious flying.

• You'll notice our squadron run-on is still coming along very well, and people outside the squadron have told me they are very impressed with it.  Great job guys!  Let's keep it going!  You'll notice that sometimes people get confused or don't read everything, and then write something that "just doesn't add up."  That's bound to happen in a run-on.  When that happens, don't sweat it, and just go with it.
