I'd say to check out the Squadron Website, but I still haven't had the opportunity to update it...sorry. Much props to LCM Jansen for maintaining the site prior to my coming...I will honestly update this site soon...I just haven't had the time of late, due to RL, drinking and to trying to stay as active as I can flying missions and what not.
Check out the Squadron Message Board for updated news, and random items that are at least somewhat relevant to the Squadron, the Wing and the Ship. It still works guys...really, but as long as you stay in contact with me some kind of way, it's all good.

Miscellaneous Information In honour of Gilad's recent promotion, can someone please attire him properly? This competition is for the best custom designed uniform for our stalwart COM. First place will receive an Iron Star with Silver Ribbon, while second place will receive an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon...as determined by myself, Yoda and Gilad himself.
Hmmm...still no participation...is there really such a thing as "too many" medals???
Out with the old...no word yet as to the winner of Joey's comp...however as far as I know, none of us participated (I only just worked out a template myself :P)
BGCOM Khadgar has started some new competitions - flying, recruitment...you guys should know the drill by now.
New multiplayer events on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays...hope to see you there!

* Hmmm...quiet week.
* Congrats to Omega Squadron CMDR/COL Brian for his promotion to General. Yay for him!
* New IWATS courses are still out there for Dreamweaver, Weaponry, Cascading Style Sheets and mIRC Scripting (give it up for Choosh!) - check these out...good stuff.
* Gilad has still not submitted himself to 1 on 1 battle with me - fear, I guess.
* I think that's about it for the week in the Fleet.

- Flew a few XvT TC Battles...submitted a couple of IWATS courses. Hung out on mIRC. Working on adding ASP and JScript to my bag of tricks, since I've got basic HTML down. Check out the new comps, including mine that is extended to the whole Wing for Gilad's new custom uniform...medals at stake, all for the sake of activity.

- Spoken to him on IRC/e-mail. Pondering a leave of absence - so far my jedi mind trick is working. Won third in the Grey Wolf Banner Comp! Yay!

Guys, let's get out and fly some missions and attempt to get some more citations...the amount that our squad currently has is well below the rest of the Wing. Although we have 3 citations - we clearly need some more targeted flying. Let's see if we can prove them wrong and put them all in their place!!! I know that we can!

Miscellaneous Information While some members of the squadron certainly appear to be pretty well educated as far as IWATS courses are concerned, in the past month or two a number of new courses have been released. They are a great way to learn new things, beef up your signature line and earn medals, which the pilot who passes the most courses each week for the next four weeks will do - a shiny Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon!
With two courses this week (LIN and M/2), I take another hollow victory. C'mon guys, there are plenty of easy courses out there - otherwise I'd never pass any! :P

Valkyrie Squadron currently has 3 citations. This, though an improvement to our former total of 1, can be remedied with some diligent, targeted flying. I'm in the process of flying some additional battles myself to at least get us to 5 or more citations...we can and should be doing better than this, I think you'll all agree...
