I'd say to check out the Squadron Website, but I still haven't had the opportunity to update it...sorry. Much props to LCM Jansen for maintaining the site prior to my coming...I will honestly update this site soon...I just haven't had the time of late, due to RL and to trying to stay as active as I can flying missions and what not.
Check out the Squadron Message Board for updated news, and random items that are at least somewhat relevant to the Squadron, the Wing and the Ship.
Welcome to LT Matt Hone, back in action after a stint in the reserves...the return of this pilot promises to serve as a breath of fresh air for the whole unit!

First place will receive an Iron Star with Silver Ribbon, while second place will receive an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon...as determined by myself, Yoda and Gilad himself.

* From ISP/HA Priyum Patel: As part of a project for the Operations Office, I am currently collecting information related to the awarding of the Grand Order of the Emperor, Order of the Renegade, Imperial Cross and the Medal of Honour merit medals. I'm looking for things like recommendations themselves, dates, etc - particularly those dating from before the 2000. If you have any saved recommendations, or any other information please email me at spellfire@btinternet.com.
* Maj Praetorian has been selected as the new Wing XV Commander - congrats.
* New IWATS courses are still out there for Dreamweaver, Weaponry, Cascading Style Sheets and mIRC Scripting (give it up for Choosh!) - check these out…good stuff. Personally, Choosh gave me some invaluable tips/motivation to pass the mIRC Scripting Course (which I subsequently made use of)…what a difference hanging out on mIRC can make…
* Gilad has still not submitted himself to 1 on 1 battle with me - fear, I guess.
* I think that's about it for the week in the Fleet.

Flew a few XvT TC Battles...submitted a couple of IWATS courses. Hung out on mIRC. Still working on HTML, so this report is a bit of a preliminary test...any feedback is welcome. Check out the new comps, including one that is extended to the whole Wing for Gilad's new custom uniform...medals at stake, all for the sake of activity.

Guys, let's get out and fly some missions and attempt to get some more citations...the amount that our squad currently has is well below the rest of the Wing. Although we now have 3 citations - we clearly need some more targeted flying. Let's see if we can prove them wrong and put them all in their place!!! I know that we can!

Miscellaneous Information While some members of the squadron certainly appear to be pretty well educated as far as IWATS courses are concerned, in the past month or two a number of new courses have been released. They are a great way to learn new things, beef up your signature line and earn medals, which the pilot who passes the most courses each week for the next four weeks will do - a shiny Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon!
With the Weaponry course passed this week, LT Matt Hone is the weekly winner! Yoda, can you please do the honours, or do I initiate this?
Next week may be tough, as I am coming out gunning for this...watch out for your CMDR...

Valkyrie Squadron currently has 3 citations. This, though an improvement to our former total of 1, can be remedied with some diligent, targeted flying. I'm in the process of flying some additional battles myself to at least get us to 5 or more citations…we can and should be doing better than this, I think you'll all agree…
