Much props to LCM Jansen for maintaining the site…I will honestly update this site soon…I just haven’t had the time of late, due to RL and to trying to stay as active as I can flying missions and what not.

Miscellaneous Information In honour of Gilad's recent promotion, can someone please attire him properly? This competition is for the best custom designed uniform for our stalwart COM. First place will receive an Iron Star with Silver Ribbon, while second place will receive an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon...as determined by myself, Yoda and Gilad himself.

Fleet News

• COL Nightmare is the new Avenger CMDR…congrats!!! I just met him this evening…seems to be an okay chap…let’s all wish him the best!
• There is an as yet still undergoing search underway for a new Wing Commander for Wing XV. Apply, all those who meet the requirements and who feel they are up to the task.
• New IWATS courses are still out there for Dreamweaver, Weaponry, Cascading Style Sheets and mIRC Scripting (give it up for Choosh!) – check these out…good stuff. Personally, Choosh gave me some invaluable tips/motivation to pass the mIRC Scripting Course (which I subsequently made use of)…what a difference hanging out on mIRC can make…
• Congrats to CPT Gelton Torr for his appointment as CMDR of Praetorian Squadron.
• Custom uniforms are now permitted and encouraged…please see the competition for creating one for our fearless leader, Gilad (who has yet to submit to 1 on 1 battle with CM Malidir)…
• Congrats to Gilad for his recent promotion to VA…couldn’t have happened to a better non-Monk :P

Promotions/Medals/Awards/Activity Report

Flew a few XvT TC Battles and a Free…passed a couple IWATS courses. Hung out on mIRC and made a few posts to some message boards. Also, I’m looking for a partner for the upcoming XWA Skirmish War; if anyone is interested…please let me know. Working diligently to master HTML so I can be more of an asset to the Wing – and so I can make prettier reports :P Oh, check out the new comps, including one that is extended to the whole Wing for Gilad’s new custom uniform…medals at stake, all for the sake of activity…

Back from leave – changed his e-mail to Jansen@TJansen.net, let’s all make note of this…he also won an IS-BR for being runner-up in the Lost on the ISD Grey Wolf Comp…methinks this is a bit overdue, however let’s all give our congratulations for this effort and participation!!!

FL/LCM Valin Drago
Heard from him and received some notification of some mongo fiction that is underway…outstanding stuff…please submit some for inclusion in newsletters or other forums (including dropping excerpts into my WSRs) – truly good stuff. The very stuff I look for from the Presidente of EH Communism. Also flew XvT TCs 5 and 22…yay Valin!!! Keep it up! :P

Commander's Forum
Guys, let’s get out and fly some missions and attempt to get some more citations…the amount that our squad currently has is well below the rest of the Wing. Still just a single citation – we need some more targeted flying, clearly. Let’s see if we can prove them wrong and put them all in their place!!! I know that we can!

Miscellaneous Information While some members of the squadron certainly appear to be pretty well educated as far as IWATS courses are concerned, in the past month or two a number of new courses have been released. They are a great way to learn new things, beef up your signature line and earn medals, which the pilot who passes the most courses each week for the next four weeks will do - a shiny Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon!

With 2 courses passed this week, I guess I win this, however what a hollow victory as there were no other participants…Yoda, can you please do the honours, or must I initiate this? C’mon guys…this one is easy!!!

Miscellaneous Information Using the "bribery with medals" tactic, the whole of Valkyrie Squadron will compete to see who can earn the most FCHG points by the end of April. May the best pilot win...an IS-BW.
Personally, I really hope you guys participate in these squadron comps, as they are a great way to earn medals and knowledge, along with furthering your status among the TC “Powers That Be”.

I may be currently in the lead, but there is still another week to go…get those BSFs in to me!! :P

XvT-TC Battle 14 - Orion Base Crisis
Valkyrie Squadron currently has a mere 1 citation. This, though rather meager, can easily be remedied with some diligent, targeted flying. I’m in the process of flying some additional battles myself to at least get us to 5 or more citations…1 is just well beneath us, I think you’ll all agree…
