Praetorian Report # 2 (2004-05-02)

This report was submitted by CPT Gelton Torr

Greetings Praetorians

Welcome to my CMDR Report #2 dating 02.05.2004.

News:

A new set of election criterias and recruitment procedures will be up on the website soon. I was asked to come up with an official, written down version of that by FO Cyric and I decided to make it to my first project as new CMDR. Malik and I came up with something and proposed it to the FO and the SDIR. Now after it is approved by them I forwarded it to AD Turtle who is agreed to put it on the website. Once it is there I will drop a notice to you.

Since my first project draws to an end I intend to start another one right after that. This time it will be the reinstatement of the Praetorian Brotherhood ranks. But I not just want to unearth those rank names and tell you to start using them. I rather have in mind to enhance the system or extent it. So far I´m still in the stage of collecting my thoughts about it and I still have to start talking with Malik about it. Therefore I hereby invite you to send me any ideas or suggestions you might have about it. I can´t promise I will use everything but I will at least look at them and ponder about them.

Going hand in hand with the remake of the recruitment process I also decided to put more emphasis on the official 3 months probation time used in Praetorian. That means after the 3 months are over every pilot who went through it , will be presented to the Praetorian Tribunal, so it can evaluate his performance and can decide if he is granted a lasting place in the squadron. So the pilots in question should use their time left to impress the rest of the squad. If you are uncertain how long your time is still look at your historic record or ask me.

The first MSE by me was written yesterday some of you can expect some medals soon.

Orders:

As suggestion from Ice I will put the orders from now on here as second topic

- Fly for the SSL as soon as the new round comes out.
- Fly the battle asignments. Malik will send them out from now on so we get more Citations.
- Fly missions you like to raise your personal FCHG score.

In that order if possible.

Activity:

Was a bit low this week, except of the SSL files I got no extra flown mission and battles and even the SSL submissions were less than I have expected. I hope that changes next week with the next SSL Round and the Battle asignments Mailk will send out. Remember this is an elite squad no holiday cruise in the carribean :P
That are the ATRs of this week:
