If you didn’t already know, the server has been down for the past week. (If you didn’t know, we have a problem.) Burnout has officialy thrown in the towel and will no longer run the server. Have no fear, though: a new server will be up within a few days. Moreover, Burnout has agreed to send all player’s files to the new server host, so all your characters should be fully intact, exactly as they were the last time you played. If you are missing anything when the server goes live, contact me and I’ll see what I can do.
Oh, and another thing: most of you (all except one) have STILL not sent me emails! I want to hear from each member of the squadron with a mail that contains, ath the very least, your ID line and the ship you fly. Send this to seavey@eltieforce.com. This isn’t that hard, folks, really. Failing to do such a simple task will not look good for you when MSE time comes around.

Not much going down for the squadron this week, what with the server being down. In news, though, Wampa Squadron members should really email their Commander. Interesting, no?

| Freeworlds/Server News |
Burnout, long-time host of the 24/7 USA Freeworlds Server, has announced that he is no longer going to host it. Apparently he has tired of spending time and money on the server, as well as the aggravation associated with doing so. I would like to convey my personal best wishes to him in whatever he may do in the future.
The server is NOT dead, however, despite what you may have read on various forums. A new host has been found, and the server will, if all goes well, be up and running in a few days time, with all player information from the old server.

The COO Ladder System is up and running, and now doesn’t use Minos for its login system, so it won’t be affected by Minos failures.
