Issue: 2005-04-22 Hokahee Squad-Mates, Greetings Gentlemen, The first week without the 24/7 USA Server passed by and apparently there will be a new server today or tomorrow with all our data. Although it seems that there's slowly poured oil on troubled waters, new topics were opened and still some aren't able to keep up talks in a good atmosphere. Oh, well... Surprise, surprise. For example are the Krath apparently willing to steal the Emperor's thrown to make it their own place to sit on. Personally I stopped worrying too much about the happenings above our own structure of command, after we can be sure, that our superiors will take good care of us... As it might have taken your attention, Malakai Deathrage has joined Panther Squad and already managed it to get promoted to Lieutenant. Also he showed up with an outstanding performance on the test server and finished his first IWATS course test after the requirements for the Flight Certification. Way to go, Lieutenant Deathrage! I'm curious if somebody has some experience in steering and navigating a starfighter in ToW. I've had two duels in a R-41 against a T/I and found it extremely difficult to handle the ships physics. I wasn't able to turn to my opponent a single time, nothing worked to let me turn quick enough to target the other ship. Another thing I can't resist to announce is, that "Papa Wolf" became a real Daddy. If things keep running smooth, I'll be able to welcome a new Imperial citizen in about 7 months. Although it's nearly unbelievable, that's somehow a proove, that there is live outside the FW servers and that there are better things to do than whining, complaining and bitching around in the forums! Now, Lieutenant Rayn Cater... Burnout was unwillingly able to pull your neck out of the noose, by shutting the server down. Nevertheless I call it good manners to keep your Commander at least informed by a single e-mail or something, why somebody isn't able to be active or that somebody lost his interest in being a member of Panther Squadron. Also it is always quite unpleasant, not to know if the reason of sudden inactivity and stubbornly kept silence isn't caused by an accident or something worse... Finally... Altarion... Although you was last online 01/30/2005 it would have been nice to inform me about cancelling the request for the transfer to Panther Squadron, or what ever else has happened, for the same reasons I've mentioned above.
