Wampa Squadron Weekly Report

This has been a rather big week. Obviously, I’m the new Wampa CMDR, as Tolbr is now our WC. He and Keller have left me some pretty big shoes to fill, but I’m confident I’ve got a good bunch of pilots and we can be great.

Moving on, I want to address what’s been going on in the Empire lately. The leadership has been flipped around all kinds of different ways, but currently, Tessius is back at the top. Now, I know many of us are less than thrilled about that, but let’s try and put that aside. What’s done is done, we can only do our best to deal with it.

The new Imperial command structure has also started giving the EH in general a bit of grief about activity. Now, we’ve proven that this problem is by no means limited to the EH, but it is still a bit of a problem. This past week, out of eight pilots, TWO were on the server, including myself. This is unacceptable. I understand it takes work from all of us, including myself, but I’d like to see everyone on for at least an hour a week. In addition, some of you are getting perilously close to AWOL territory. I’ve already sent one e-mail in the regard, and I’ll probably be sending more soon. Don’t let it be you!

Finally, I have a few orders for you guys. Don’t worry, its nothing hard. ;)

1)I want each of you to e-mail me (seavey@eliteforce.com). I don’t want anything fancy, just a sign of life from everyone. Also, please include what ship you are flying, for records purposes.

These are more what you would call standing orders:

2)Send me a mail whenever you participate in a TE with an EH character. I can’t give out rewards or anything like that, but I would like to be aware. You can just CC me when you send in your mail for LoCs, if that suits you.

3)I also want to know whenever you donate money to the EH bank. Since our leaders' IN-C characters were deleted, we’re down a lot of money, so its very important right now. 1)I want to hear from each of you. Just a simple e-mail saying you’re alive and that you want to continue in the squadron (or that you don’t, but I hope I don’t see any of those.). Also, I’d like you to include what ship you’re flying, just for my records.

Of course, the big news is that our former Commander, Tolbr, has left us to become WC, and I have taken over as CMDR.

That leaves my old spot, Flight Two FL, open. Anyone interested, send me a brief application. I’ll hopefully have a selection by next week’s report (although that is NOT guaranteed).

Not much going on right now, but the biggest news is the Imperial Alliance beta testing. Unfortunately, it is a closed beta, and anyone that wants to test will have to leave their current assignment. None currently scheduled, although one, with the NR attacking Seinar Shipyards and Imperial Sector Command, was canceled over the past week, so watch for news of it being re-declared.

Baptism of Fire, a message board run-on competition, is being run by the COMM. The RO itself is here. First place, judged by the COMM, gets a nice shiny Medal of Communication.

Tolbr: Promoted from CPT to MAJ and left the squadron to become WC.

Tarmel Telnor: Promoted from LCM to CM and switched positions from Flight Two Leader to Squadron CMDR.
