PI Squadron Report #5
09 March 2003

CMDR'S CORNER
All in all nobody did anything this past week. I'm joking there were a few battles flown, I think even for the comp we had :P Kalve Ryder, Nico Qarni and myself managed to pump out a total of 8 count them 8 BSF's this last week. Now is that a land speed record or what?

In case you haven't noticed now, the Colossus is out of the shipyards and back out on the streets kids. Yup that means back to the same ole routine of doing nighttime patrols, flying sector by sector, square by square, asteroid by asteroid. Best get your flying suites on cuz its our turn to go out soon. Omicron is out now and when they return we're gone. So power up those MB's, get those system checks done ASAP!

Well last week we welcomed and old hand back to the ship only to say bye cya later to him yesterday. What was FM/LCM Darknyte is now LA/RA Darknyte, yup you got it thats Lord Ambassador for the EH. Go figure a person of his style, outspokenness, individuality, would ever get such a position with the EH hierarchy. But never the less he got it so congradulate him :) Good luck DN some of us will miss ya!

Sorry I have to add again that this report is late. I have been extremely busy this weekend. As the dawn of the new baby approaches my time will get even shorter, but I'll still do my duties as CMDR, just might not do much activities as far as flying. So I'll be dependant on you guys to help pick up the slack. Again as with the last report, it shows a bit of acivity of the squad, as it picks up. But like last week at least we have something to report :) So thanks guys for the work your doing. I would also like to see Pi helping the squadron and the wing get more peeps, so go recruit!

RECRUIT! If you actively recruit members to PI Squadron and you get three of them, then I will award you an ISM for recruiting them. The only stipulation is that they must graduate the academy if they are there, then join the PI and stay for a minimum of 2 weeks while being active :P , if they are old farts (RSV returnees or others), then they must remain and be active for 2 weeks. The total amount to get an ISM, is for recruiting 3 members to PI. Once this goal gets reached then I will submit a request for you to receive an ISM. Make sure you remind me or I'll forget :P

SQUADRON ACTIVITY
Not enough worth mentioning :P but I'll do it anyway:
  1. CMDR/COL Absolut Vodka:
    • Flew TIE-TC: 17, 18
    • Setup Squadron comps
    • Working on a new website for ship and squad
    • Wrote squad report and posted it
    • Submitted MSE
  2. FM/LCM Scuslem
    • Reported in
  3. FL II FL/LCM Nico Qarni:
    • Reported in
    • Flew TIE-TC: 14
  4. FM/LC Zystem Fryar
    • Reported in from leave
  5. FL III FL/CM Kalve Ryder
    • Reported in
    • Flew TIE-TC: 16, 17, 18, 19, 20
  6. FM/LCM Darknyte
    • Departed for duty as LA
    • Transferred to new duty onboard the SOV
    • Promoted to RA

CHAIN OF COMMAND
NOTE: Remember there is a chain of command which is in place, shown below this paragraph is the order in which it is to be used.
  1. Flight Officer
  2. BGCOM
  3. COM
  4. WC
  5. CMDR
  6. FL
  7. FM
So this by itself should give you an idea how things work in the Imperial Military. There is an orderly way of doing things and that means you must utilize the chain of command. And believe me when I say this if you don't, or chose not to, it can seriously work against you. Ship board matters needs to be dealt with using this chain. If there is a problem, it should be handled here and only here, there is no reason why anyone outside of this ship would need to help us with an internal matter, unless it's obvious that it should go beyond our immediate chain of command in order to be fixed.
PILOT FILE SUBMISSION STUFF
Don't forget when submitting a pilot file for me to BSF I would ask that you put your pilot in the below format:

3319TIETC10 (where the first number is your PIN, the second is the platform type which you flew, the last is the # of the battle flown. In the case of TIE-FREEs put TF, for the rest: DB, IW etc, you get the idea, if not email me and I'll personally explain it. This makes it easier for me to BSF, cuz in the case of those who don't add their PIN to their email, then I'll atleast have it, by labeling it this way.)

Cya next week!

CLOSING EXTRAS
All in all its been an average week. ZF came back off leave so hopefully we'll see some work out of him soon. Uh RA Darknyte departed last night for the SOV, again good luck. We still have 2 comps working, I'd like to see some participation, especially for the TG Wing comp. I'd like to see more of us get in the top 10 if possible. Happy Hunting!

Have a good day! Cya next week!
