SQUADRON NEWS

• Well I made it back intact from my bout with RL.  I was a bit disappointed to see my inbox practically empty when I returned.  Some of you promised me mucho activity and then all but disappeared.  I'm going to raise the bar and try to set an example of what a good squadron member should be, and I would be thrilled to see the rest of you pick up the pace with me.

• XvT WoW starts today (Friday) and I want each and every one of you who has XvT and at least a 56k connection to fly at least one match.  If a decent amount of us do enough participation in this WoW we might even be able to make up for lost activity this month and claim WC's own.  Here is a link to the competition.  Signing up on Battlestats is easy.  Just create an account and sign up for the EH club and you are ready to fly in the WoW.  If you have any further questions contact me.  Let's make our name known!!

• Major Drake Jensen had been appointed as Major Remlinger's A:WC and will be assisting in him with his WC duties.  Congratulations Drake!  Way to represent your squadron!

• Don't forget there are a bazillion competitions going on!  Pick one you want to focus on and try to win it.  After all, who doesn't like getting medals?

• I have changed the pilot of the week criteria to be strictly for flying activity, and added an "officer of the week" mention to be given for overal squadron/TC contribution.  (don't worry, I'm going somewhere with this...eventually...soon)

Flight Leader Position Available!! - Last week to prove yourself!! The 2-1 position is available as you all know, to whoever shows me by their actions that they have the leadership ability and activity commitment it takes to move up in the Tie Corps.  I have yet to see very much effort on most of your parts to try to get this prestegious position.  Also remember that I have the right to recruit from outside the squadron to fill this position, so just because there might be "nobody better" than you doesn't mean you'll get it.  Remember that to keep your position as a FL in my squadron you need to try to do one flying activity or contribution to the squadron per week.  I will make my final decision in the next week or so.
