PI Squadron Report #8
07 April 2003

CMDR'S CORNER
Sorry I have to apologize for the lateness of this report. Currently I'm (was) experiencing system technical difficulties, however, I'm happy to report that most of my system issues have been resolved. So now its back to business as usual. I'm glad to see that members are doing stuff, but seriously we need more activity I still have things to do to prepare for my next lil Imperial baby, which will be here on the 25th of April so I'll be in and out.

Let it be known now that on or about the 24th of April I will be on leave for the birth of my new baby until the 2 or 3rd of May. Again MAJ Jedgar will be the A-CMDR and the reporting official for the squadron during this time. So make sure you send all your activity reports to him and CC me. I'll still be around but my Mom, Mother-In-Law will require lots of my time while they are around since they haven't seen us nor their grand babies for like 2 years :P

Basically, we have some competitions going on and I'd like everyone where possible to participate (ESPECIALLY FOR SSL!). Especially in the Top Gun comp. We're in second place but not for long unless we can get some more entries and more activity towards it. Anyway, now that parts done, onto the semi-good stuff the squadron nitty gritty.

Remember lastly Report in! at the least, and email at this point can be worth a thousand words. For those of you doing stuff I salute you :) and thanks for the work your doing. I would also like to see Pi and the wing get more peeps, so go recruit!

RECRUIT! If you actively recruit members to PI Squadron and you get three of them, then I will award you an ISM for recruiting them. The only stipulation is that they must graduate the academy if they are there, then join the PI and stay for a minimum of 2 weeks while being active :P , if they are old farts (RSV returnees or others), then they must remain and be active for 2 weeks. The total amount to get an ISM, is for recruiting 3 members to PI. Once this goal gets reached then I will submit a request for you to receive an ISM. Make sure you remind me or I'll forget :P

SQUADRON ACTIVITY
Not enough worth mentioning :P but I'll do it anyway:
  1. CMDR/COL Absolut Vodka:
    • Flew TIE-FREE: 215 (SL 2003)
    • Working on new Squadron comps
    • Working with Major Jedgar on new website for the squad
    • Wrote squad report and posted it
    • Wrote MSE for March (still need to submit though)
  2. FM/LCM Scuslem
    • Reported in (yay! finally...) :P
  3. FL II FL/LCM Nico Qarni:
    • Not reported in
  4. FM/LC Zystem Fryar
    • Not reported in yet
  5. FL III FL/CM Kalve Ryder
    • Hasn't reported in yet again >:P
  6. FM/MAJ Jedgar
    • Reported in
    • Was A-CMDR for this past week (Good job!)
    • Flew TIE-FREE: 215
    • Flew TIE-TC: 8, 9, 10
    • Lots of Email activity, Hurray!
    • Helped update the current website

SQUADRON FCHG POINTS RANKING
Archon [ARCN] (1500 points)
[1844] LC Zystem Fryar
Paladin [PLDN] (300 points)
[366] MAJ Jedgar
Knight [KNGT] (250 points)
[278] CM Kalve Ryder
Gallant [GALL] (200 points)
[201] LCM Nico Qarni
Fusilier [FUSL] (75 points)
[97] LCM Scuslem

CHAIN OF COMMAND
NOTE: Remember there is a chain of command which is in place, shown below this paragraph is the order in which it is to be used.
  1. Flight Officer
  2. BGCOM
  3. COM
  4. WC
  5. CMDR
  6. FL
  7. FM
So this by itself should give you an idea how things work in the Imperial Military. There is an orderly way of doing things and that means you must utilize the chain of command. And believe me when I say this if you don't, or chose not to, it can seriously work against you. Ship board matters needs to be dealt with using this chain. If there is a problem, it should be handled here and only here, there is no reason why anyone outside of this ship would need to help us with an internal matter, unless it's obvious that it should go beyond our immediate chain of command in order to be fixed.
PILOT FILE SUBMISSION STUFF
Don't forget when submitting a pilot file for me to BSF I would ask that you put your pilot in the below format:

3319TIETC10 (where the first number is your PIN, the second is the platform type which you flew, the last is the # of the battle flown. In the case of TIE-FREEs put TF, for the rest: DB, IW etc, you get the idea, if not email me and I'll personally explain it. This makes it easier for me to BSF, cuz in the case of those who don't add their PIN to their email, then I'll atleast have it, by labeling it this way.)

Cya next week!

CLOSING EXTRAS
It appears we are representing the Colossus as one of its Elite top squadrons. So lets make this a healthy reality and go fly TF 216 (attached to email version) and submit pilot file ASAP. I know MAJ Jedgar and LCM Nico Qarni flew but I need your pilot files. I'd really like to have LC ZF to fly as that would make our score much better.

So far as seen in the attached files, Pi Squadron has placed 14th :P not bad for the first round considering that only two of us flew :P and you know what that means right? yes thats right, it means you'd better fly or else >:P We need more points I don't wanna be tied with anyone, since we're the only squadron onboard the Colossus flying we need to represent GOT IT! Now go get to it! Happy Hunting!

Have a good day! Cya next week!
